A plaintive bhajan, apparently based on the Meera tale, that tearfully remonstrates with the Lord for having "sneaked out " of her life, leaving her bereft and despondent. This kind of "romantic " attachment to a fantasized Krishna is common to many devotional songs in Hindu culture at the popular level. Very charming art illustration provided by Mirzaji.
