@twburr I'm atheist and I celebrate Christmas with my family because it's the longest national holiday, which means it's one of the few opportunities we have to spend time together. The rest of my family is Christian so they also celebrate it for religious reasons, but that doesn't mean I have to. Besides, I don't just get gifts, I give them as well. Why should I miss out on a family reunion? Christmas is pagan in origin anyway, so if Christians can adopt it, so can groups who come after them.

Over the past decades, the increase of salaries has fallen far behind the rates of inflation, and people are actually working more hours per week than before. I think it's entirely reasonable to fight for benefits, vacation, etc, which will help to alleviate financial strain.

@twburr I'm atheist and I celebrate Christmas with my family because it's the longest national holiday, which means it's one of the few opportunities we have to spend time together. The rest of my family is Christian so they also celebrate it for religious reasons, but that doesn't mean I have to. Besides, I don't just get gifts, I give them as well. Why should I miss out on a family reunion? Christmas is pagan in origin anyway, so if Christians can adopt it, so can groups who come after them.

Over the past decades, the increase of salaries has fallen far behind the rates of inflation, and people are actually working more hours per week than before. I think it's entirely reasonable to fight for benefits, vacation, etc, which will help to alleviate financial strain.

tell me this, why are there countless people bashing christianity, but u hardly ever see christians bashing athiests, also, athiesms has taken over for example, christianity used to be taught in schools, now evolution is, without my consent, even tho i pay taxes to the schools, one guy in my neigborhood had a nativity scene in his yard, and got sued for it, but yet, i saw a sign that said "reasons greetings" which was an athiest campaign sign, but they cannot be sued, odd huh

no, the bible talks about redemtion, that is christianitys biggest prospect, if someone is a sinner, they reddem themselves and worship god, tell me how athiesm has inspired people? one of my friends was athiest, he was a drug addict, and was gonna drop out of school, i introduce him to christianity, he is now living life to the fullest, and stopped doing drugs, and he has high grades in school

First, why do you assume atheism has to inspire anything? Its the lack of a belief, nothing more.
That being said, it does aspire good in the sense that it does not tell people to do bad things like many religions do.
the bible literally says you should stone your own children to death if they disobey you. It says adulterers should die. It says that everybody is born in sin, even children. It says we all deserve eternal death.

You're moving the goalposts now. You stated that the bible has saved more people than evolution. To this I DID give an example - modern medicine.
As for atheism and deeds, atheism isn't a set of beliefs. It's not something that encourages good or bad. Empathy is what encourages good deeds.

Read the entire Bible. You're likely blind to the intolerance, as you're a Christian, but seriously. Read it. I used to be a Christian so I know where you're coming from. For example, Deut 17:2-7 tells us to kill everyone who doesn't follow the god of Abraham. In Exodus 23:34, god commands his followers to be intolerant of other religions, which you seem to be violating. There are countless intolerant verses.
