Most people think Temple of the Dog came after Pearl Jam was created and that it's a PJ / Soundgarden collaboration. Not true. Cornell (Andrew Wood's roommate) and Gossard/Ament (Andrew Wood's bandmates from Mother Love Bone) created the album prior to Pearl Jam being created. Eddie obviously was on a few tracks.
Temple of the Dog just gains massive popularity later due to the successes of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam.
"I was just thinking i'm an idiot, i'm gonna follow that in the middle of pearl jam's encore" I guess he played right after a pearl jam set. I'm sure this is an early version of the tune from Euphoria Morning.
I accidentally hit "thumbs down" on your comment. Sorry...I meant to hit the thumbs up and agree with what you said...ya know...pearl jam obviously wanted him to play...right? (: Love this song.
morello is different league to cornell on the guitar!!! cornell is a singer song writer who is out of this world!! but consider that morello wrote all of the guitar for rage plus most for audioslave! he is another level!!
Chris has a great one of a kind voice!!! He could sing the phone book and it would sound good! Wonder what band he will be with next? I'm sure he is in high demand for almost any band! Thanx for sharing and cheers!
yea your right its not soundgarden. its a completely different band. wtf if he started a new band and it sounded just like soundgarden that would be lame and an insult to his former bandmates. i take you like only 1 type of music huh. its a different stage in his life. and there is even a progression of change in just the soundgarden albums alone. maybe you should all stop watching mtv and go to a record store every now and then. there is all kinds of music out there.
yh but he also said he thought he was a better guitarist than tom morello and that audioslave was only him doing the work so tbh i dont give a dam what he does next coz ive lost a lot of respect for him after what he said bout the three rage members
note the fact that Tom Morello is ranked 26th best guitarist in the world and toms acoustic stuff is so awesome u can tell he was inspired by bob dillan and johnny cash
True but rolling stones did and i trust there opinion and seriously this guy is a sell out he did some political activism with soundgarden and then he joins rage and says he wont do it anymore TO RAGE in my opinion the worlds biggest activist band WTF was he thinking fortunately tom managed to sneak some political messages in there but if it wasn't for some good albums with audioslave and soundgarden and he has a good voice id hate this guy more than slash fans hate axl
and ur saying coz Chris wrote the songs that makes him a good guitarist Hello jimi Hendrix believed to be the gr8est guitarist ever some of his gr8ist stuff was wrote by other people so how can ur arguments stand Tom was taught by Michale angelo batio to solo for me that clinches it in any argument the fastest shredder alive taught Him, Tbh this is a stupid arguement i think alot of people will back me up that in terms of guitaring tom is better but if u want to keep that opinion go 4 it
did you read my second comment, while you go into your hissy fit there? oh great the fastest shredder alive, boohoo that doesn't mean he is good. it depends with what criteria you define as good.
he could kick Chris's ass thats what i define as good and i did read ur second comment dipshit why do u think i replied, and one thing u must understand is a guitarist MAB and Satch And Steve Vai wont take u on unless ur at a certain level of skill obviously tom is otherwise why bother and any im sitting here with a big grin, u think im having a 'hissy fit' rofl i just think that some opinions are worth challenging, U cant compare guitarists but u can compare there level of skill.

Cornell actually gave Vedder a break by letting him jam in Temple. How he got his start.

Cornell proves that the tracks from Scream are good when he plays them live.
They aren't over produced shit stains like they are on the album.
That said, it's no Soundgarden.

he probably is a better guitarist than Morello. Note the fact that he wrote 95% of soundgardens songs.

you can't really rank guitarists anyway, it's all down to a matter of opinion.

they did. Temple of the Dog.

I know that. I meant right now a duet album. Temple of the dog wasn't really a collaboration between the two. Eddie just sang on like 3 tracks

Eddie and chris have similar vocal paterns not the same sorta tone but the same sorta patern
