First I would like to thank all military personnel for serving. The United States is not one country, we are a federation of sovereign states, a union. We were never meant to be a nation. The idea that we are a nation is the product of federal schools. My country is Tennessee, please read your Constitution. Military personnel take an oath to defend, protect and preserve the Constitution. We have fifty flags. The federal flag should fly on federal property only, Post Office, etc.
