how did you get windows media player

Tools>Choose toolbox items>

go to the COM components tab

scroll down to thw bottom look up a bit then tick the check box for windows media player. in VB 2008, in the toolbox it should come up in visual basic power packs tab. there :)

how come i don't have the windows media player there in the toolbox?

right click on the toolbox,,chose toolbox items..im not sure..and then search for the windows media player check it and click done..

ok i did that it worked but! it gave me all the buttons and the scroll bar like the normal media player which would make this tutorial useless?

means when you are playing the song visual also starts playing but in my player only song is running and the whole screen is black...

go to the toolbox and right-click and then click Customize.... and in the window you will look for Windows Media Player Control..Its at the end...:)
