@Mandolin1944 Yes, I chose to ignore the "butchers" comment which has no business here. What surprises me is that a 13-year-old girl should sing about death and going away without leaving a trace. I've always loved this song. It's only justice that artists who have shared the song also remind people who the real credit should go to.

@wwwonderful OK, probably your approach was more prudent than mine but I doubt I'll ever change. As to the song writer and the song? Well that's what happens with prodigies isn't it? How does one explain a 2 year old who never had piano lessons walking up to a keyboard and playing Bach -- but it happens. Freight train is probably the first show song most finger pickers learn and most would not have a clue what kind of fabric Elizabeth cotton is!
