@Jeremias1364 I think what he, and many atheists, including myself, mean by that is we are not scared of the fact of dying. Survival instincts will kick in, of course, but we don't have anything after the fact to be afraid of.

@Jeremias1364 Gotta admit the sentence "I´m not worried about dying because I´m an atheist" alone could have different meanings - luckily this video is longer than just 10 seconds and he explains, that he is not concerned about what happens AFTER death and is therefore not worried. The whole video is about afterlife - not about the will to survival.

I might also mention I am an atheist. Searching for god isn't really my thing. Were there a god to be found I doubt that drugs would be the way to it.

If one is in control of one's mind and projects positively, shrooms can help facilitate a feeling of self transcending love, peace and oneness with all that is. Or the inverse, depending on the thoughts projected.
