  • After seeing a crapload of these aspergers vids, I'm sure that I'm neurotypical. Good luck to those with AS.

  • you are inspirational

  • you got ass burgers?

  • @tindirindirintin That's just not funny

  • @MusicGamerPro sorry mate. funny to me though.

  • I would say you have ADHD and asperger symdrome:) just like me

  • You kind of remind me of Chewbacca from Jimmy Kimmel. The Hollywood Blvd Chewbacca guy. Almost exactly.

  • @Logistica11735 It was named after a man who's last name was Asperger.

  • @CassetteMaster german assholes

  • Don't get yourself diagnosed, trust me. It ruined everything to find out that I was different to other kids. At least you are aware, so you can live life like you had done before.

  • He said it himself self diagnosed. Conditions such as Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder ADHD, Childhood Depressive Disorder CDD Central Auditory Processing Deficit CAPD Absence Seizure (petit mal), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and many others, share symptoms of Asperger's Self diagnosis in itself is a inaccurate and possibly dangerous thing. Doctors never recommend self diagnosing. He is more likely narcissistic.

  • @UFOnerd1 and you are..... ? :) a narcissistic person would NEVER admit to having Asperger's, which is always having a list of 'symptoms' noting a 'deficit' of some kind, notably the 'social "retardation"' or what have you, I am by the way an Aspie, so I do not use that term in a derogatory manner... Just saying no way would a narcissist admit to ANY sort of 'deficit' in their mind/body/life. thank you... :)

  • @Vgirlification It makes no difference to me whether you think he is narcissistic or not, That was not my poynt anny way. And NEVER is a strong word especially when its in caps lol.

  • @UFOnerd1 I doubt that he is. Autism is only just now coming to the forefront of society so MANY people have never been diagnosed. Most medical professionals are horribly ignorant of ASDs. The way he speaks to me screams that he has Asperger's, the tone of his voice, obsession with mechanical things. Believe me I don't think anyone would wish having this on their worst enemy. The isolation and mistreatment by people is almost unbearable. Everything is difficult.

  • I want to be your friend

  • me and jason are fine with you and i want a family with him and i shook a guys hand yesterday with it...today i am a nice girl, i do love you!

  • I can tell by one look that you have it. No joke..

  • I know a kid with aspergers, and his obsession is porn. I'm not joking.

  • @DubnutX thats common i hear, I think I have it but I like sport alot, sometimes we just find random topics we like and I guess porn was his, kinda sucks hope he gets taken off that habit and moved to something else.

  • @mwyatt787 Yeah, everyone's trying their best to help him. It's gotten to the extent where he faps in the grocery store bathroom, an EVEN during class.

  • @Adamillionaire123

What do you mean by this comment?

  • This video was GREAT!! You are so much like my son and I am SOOO proud of him and who he is (I'm sure your parents feel the same way about you). I think that you should make this a continuous blog, to show what you encounter on a daily, or maybe just a weekly basis. Tell us what obstacles you face and how you deal with them and/or overcome them. It would help so many other Aspergians to feel like they are not alone. If you do this, I would certainly watch it. Good luck to you!!

  • I made a YouTube account just to comment on this!!

I may have Aspergers, I've looked up a bunch of stuff about it, you're really brave ! I admire that, you're also cute, so try not to be too shy or nervous around girls,

cause you've got my attention (:

  • You are JUST LIKE my son with the "how things work". He was diagnosed today. You rock.

  • that okay i talk to myself all of the time. it comforts me. i wish i didnt have asperger syndrome

  • For the loss of focus a behavior specialist put velcro on the bottom of my son's desk so he could rub his fingers on it. The fact that he had something to do with his hands helped him focus on school work better. It's just an idea. Maybe it will work for you too. :)

  • Assburgers!

  • Comment removed

  • @PharaohFargo93 Hmm. I could bet my life on that you haven't got a valid reason for why i am an insensetive dick. Do you know who i am? Do you know what diagnoses i have? No. So shut your big trap, dick.

  • @Voorheesdaman That's not even funny.

  • thank u for sharing your heart.........:))

  • I also have aspergers. Diagnosed when i was 10. Lived with it most of my life. Props man. Good job.

  • i have aspergers. i had the same obession of how things worked and i took things apart. i always know what its like

  • That was great... Thank you for sharing that with us .. Yes your going to get the comments that are negative but that's only because they don't want to understand but remember they must had been curios about you as they took the time to listen to you.. You had their attention. Keep up the great work.

  • great video! You did a great job! This video was great......

  • STARE AT THE FUCKING CAMERA!

  • @1776PatriotTeen aspergers dont have eye contact lol

  • @31correlli First off, you're best off ignoring 1776patriotTeen. He or she is a self admitted troll. Regardless, if you think that those with asperger's can't have eye contact, you're very misinformed. While it is common, that doesn't mean that all have problems with it.

  • I have ass burgers

    want some?

  • @CillRevada HAHHAHAH

  • your such a cool dude...very chill...unique.

  • This video is super. My son has AS and he's a lot like you...going on and on about stuff. He likes to read and he likes aneme, Japanese art, old music, comedy. He lives independently, goes to college, he's doing okay for himself. He talks to himself and has social difficulty. Thanks. I'm going to share this with him.

  • Thats a really great chair.

  • It sounds like you may instead have, "nerd syndrome', not aspergers. I'm not making fun of you really, I can relate to a lot of the stuff you're saying.

  • this is the first video ive seen on asperger's and i have it too. lol my computer doesnt take aspergers as a real word. but aye i feel for u man, i have almost all the symptoms except 1 or 2 and bcuz of my dislike of therapy, ive had to work on my symptoms myself, and i have made progress.

  • I like your chair :)

  • Great video

Love you pure heart that I sence in you

  • @danielcc99 wtf dude

  • @danielcc99 Wtf, screw you.

  • @FatBoySlim696 hahaha ur gay lol

  • XD your cool man u sound like forest gump

  • Are you from Louisiana?

  • I remember having an intense phobia of being gay in middle school (though I guess in my case I ended up being gay) and also feeling very unsure of what I was and how I knew that I was what I was. (But sometimes I wonder if I might have aspergers too.)

  • I'm in the process of restoring my JVC Nivico 4TR-990. Everything works but the cabinet needs cosmetic work and the screw holes for the lid hinges have torn out (it's fake walnut of recycled sawdust). Need new idler wheels for the tape deck and adjustment of the turntable tonearm travel (doesn't pick up and park after the record is done). All #44 lightbulbs were replaced and pots/switches cleaned. Bearings washed out with solvent and reoiled. Tape recorder bias adjusted and new stylus in the TT.

  • I'm 45 and suspect I have Asperger's. More when I was a kid I had obsessive interests in permanent magnet motors, batteries, light bulbs, and yes tape recorders. Reel to reel my fave. Now I collect JVC Nivico audio equipment, particularly the 4TR-990 stereo console with R2R, turntable and AM/FM/Shortwave. I recently aquired the complete chassis, tape deck, turntable and speakers of another 4TR-990 minus cabinet (apparently trashed beyond repair) to have spares or build another complete unit.

  • faggot

  • You deserve so much respect. Great vid

  • You don't have to live with this, just act how you did before you realized something was different, that's how I broke out of the curse.

  • @TheNoisePolluter You're right, The more I learn about people with autistic "disorders" or "disabilities" the more i realise that it is just a type of personality. To call it a disorder is quite offensive.

These are simply people with ambition, determination, a desire to learn or to reach the limits of posibility.

It would be much more fitting for them to be ackgnowledged as Geniuses.

These people have chosen a hard path, and are sticking to it. And their reward it to be labeled "Disabled".

  • @4Teddybears can i just thank you for this, ive tried to explain this to a number of people but couldnt really get the right words out. before i was diagnosed i thought what i was doing was perfectly normal, and that it was just me. i thought i was shy, a bit quirky and preferred my own company, but apparently this is a disability, not my personality. i was happy until i had a label put on me, now ive resulted to selective mutism, i have low self esteem and crippling anxiety, sorry about that ha

  • @ohnaivelittleme I am So pleased that this has helped you.

I too have been though anxiety, social problems, and i guess selective mutism(I dont actually know definition)

but, basically not speaking in a variety of situations.

What are you sorry for, this is exactly the type of response i hoped for =D

  • @4Teddybears just incase you weren't commenting for my little stories haha. the word disability does offend me, because when i think of disabled i think of well, retards (sorry if that offends) and i know i'm not a retard. and all the documentaries i've seen they always seem to find the most retarded looking, if you understand what i'm saying? i just find it infuriating. i'm sure others feel this way too.

  • @ohnaivelittleme I know what you're saying.

    Here's a twist.

If you think about it in evolutionary terms, any trait that is detremental to your survival or success within a given environment, would be considered a disability. So in that sense, even If we are misunderstood (an thus incapable of excelling in the structure of todays' society), we are disabled, none the less!!!

Go back not to far in history, and I bet people like us would be the top of the tree(perhaps quite literally =P).

  • @TheNoisePolluter I have the syndrome and even when I realised I had it I was still a loser at school. But I have more friends now so I "live with it" to-say

  • @TheNoisePolluter what curse? what do you mean?

  • @somotastic21 The curse of AssBurgers or whatever....

  • this is the most REAL video i've watched on the topic. Thankyou. I am the mother of a 15 yr. old boy, who is just like you :). He is wonderful and an extra special gift in my life. He has not been diagnosed as I just found out about Aspergers only 14 months ago. He fell through the cracks in school and so I pulled him out and he is doning an online homeschool...I wonder if I'm doing the right thing for him?

  • @ca2001scc I was home schooled for 2 years, im now doing mechatronics engineering major.

  • @ca2001scc If the bullying has stopped and he seems happier, I would say yes.

  • this is the most REAL vid i've watched on the topic. Thankyou. I am the mother of a 15 yr. old boy, who is just like you :). He is wonderful and an extra special gift in my life. • Dude, you're not alone.

I have it too. And believe me, I know it makes your life more complicated than it would appear on your videos. But you're actually a success story because you've channeled your energies into an amazing talent.

You just have to remember that it's what makes you who you are and never be ashamed of it. Like I said, you have an amazing talent with vintage electronics. There are people here who value you for it. I'm 42 and I wasn't diagnosed until I was 38.

    Keep rockin'

  • you have to get involved in things that will builld your self confidence i started working out when i was 13 ive always had the ladies come to me. so yes we have roadblocks but you can always find a way around them.make yourself join a gym power walk at the mall join the army.

  • I have it too, I just can't picture myself ever getting a girlfriend because of it

  • Actually, need to update. I did get diagnosed in I think May 2010.

  • @Cassette. I talk to myself, I don't think aspergers is real or that humans can even diagnose it. It just seems like it should be called "Nerd Disease" Or "Computer Dork Syndrome" You talk about just normal curiosity and human behavior. Being an anti social nerd makes it seem like we have some weird brain disease but we don't. There is no such thing man. I am a huge nerd, hate people, talk to myself, can rip apart any electronic or program its software. Not aspergers, just the way it is

  • @fuckcomments Have you actually looked up AS on the web or spoken to medical professionals about it? AS is very very real indeed.

  • Thanks for sharing your experience with what you believe to be Asperger's. You seem like you may have some characteristics (your obsession with the parts of the tape recorder is characteristic).

  • never wonder why only western people and american broadcast their imaginary syndromes? yes coz it's just imaginary after getting the xbox and daily burger , they feel so bored than they find themselves disease, and when it's not enough they suicide!! while in africa the beg to stay a live 1 more day without complaining

  • @gool54

It sound like people in in africa should move to america

  • i have aspergers and i am 12, it sucks since everyone at school treats me like dog $#!!, i really hate 12 year olds, because they are

    1. shut the #### up CU##!

2.JUSTIN BEIBER AND ELMO RULEZ :D mindless zombies...

  • Awesome! I applaud your wonderful honesty. Your video is also very interesting. My 25 year old son was just recently diagnosed with Asperger's. Up until then, he had been diagnosed with just about every other psychological condition. He has an obsession with astrology and playing guitar. He has not had a friend since he was a child. It's so sad sometimes, but at least he doesn't get into trouble, and he is such a beautiful and special person. I think Asperger's is a blessing ...

  • and adhd

  • Ive got aspergers syndrome

  • Don't beat yourself up friend. There's a lot of propaganda and other things fabricated on the internet to make asd look like it's a step up from being a normal person. Ive met plenty of asspies, and trust me, you taking apart your toy train is more a work of brilliance than of autism.

Since you made this video a few years ago, i can assume that you made a choice to accept this disease that you don't have. I wish the best for you and that you can be at peace with yourself and without autism.

  • I love this video !!! My son has AS and he is 14 and helps me understand how gifted and wonderful he is. GREAT JOB!!

  • I have aspergers and I was diagonosed when I was 13 so 2004 or so. I was bullied in school but didnt have a obsession untill I got involved with horses, my obsession is now fast becoming my career . I have problems with body language, noise and crowds . I am very good at writing, art and horse riding though its going to be a continual problem for me.

  • Yeah you have it lol. I like how you said you narrate yourself. Reminds me of that Family Guy episode.

  • Sadly, with autism and aspergers, is that nothing that you do to convince them to change their opinion will work. They will stick by what they've always known, even if it's hateful. There's just no putting any sense into them because they will NOT change their minds. It doesn't matter how stupid it is or how silly the matter may be. No amount of convincing will change their mind on anything in life.

All you need to do is look at many with autism and aspergers and you will see this.

  • @boxycontin1 I agree with your thoery, but how can you work with auistics? I find them quite stubborn.

  • i was diagnosed with it in 2000 too. i really like your personality. what i like most is your bravery to say that you have aspergus < This makes me think that you dont have it. I dont know, but i know that your really cool.

  • Cool. Like the video dude! Great personality...impressive. Glad you made this for humanity.

  • Very helpful to humanity dude! I'm glad you like that you have it! Cool characteristics that you have!!! Thanks dude! Like your personality!

  • haha. i just love people who stereotype gays. i know of many gay people and 99% don't run around talking about fsex. i am asexual, so i find straight people are just as annoying in that sense, since they are also talking sexual talk.

  • You are clever and you play funny good. I was diagnose with a mild form for autism.

    But i dont know.

  • so you posted this video two years ago, did you get "officialy" diagnosed?

  • You do seem retarded. I wouldn't trust you with a small child or something fragile. Just saying!

  • @ClydesRevenge Don't be a dick.

  • mr. doctor

  • Thank You So much!!!! I am 99% sure my brother has AS. I broke down when I saw your video because now I no why. My brother is 43yrs old. He had such a hard life and breaks my heart that back then we had no way of knowing

  • u can't talk properly can u??

  • so do all you guys say youve got it or are there some that dont want to tell people or what?

  • im 24 and was diagnosed with AS in 2003 i have always found it difficult to mix with people i had a few friends in high school but once i left school they ignored me .I have never had a girlfriend or even been on a date girls are only interested in money and goodlooks these days the bottom line is most men with aspergers will never get married or have kids . LETS FACE IT LIFE SUCKS WHEN U HAVE ASPERGERS

  • take your shirt off

  • You are funny=)

  • You should stop being afraid to go get diagnosed, just....don't pop pills buddy it'll dull your amazingly creative mind.

  • i have aspergers and i have loads of friends,so this aspergers is bs,mostly, just dont be wierd, its simple, look at how people talk to each other, they say things like(hows is it going and then ask about them and dont get fixated about your self)cause people probably dont care about your tape recorders,

  • I care about his tape recorders, I have AS too

  • I care about his tape recorders, I have AS too

  • Your video is super. Thanks for sharing with those of us who want to know and those who need to know.

  • i have the same syndrome...

  • it is not diagnosed by a by a doctor then you are not sure you have it there is a mental disorder were a person has to believe that there is something mentaly or physically wrong with them so unless a doctor says you have you don't but you could i'm not a doctor but just because you don't make eye contact and you like cameras does not mean you have it there are way more aspects of it that web md is not gonna tell you trust me I do have Aspergers

  • @pimpdog93 He is on the spectrum though. Oh and he has good taste in music!!!

  • @toweronepower Well I'm considered pretty much in the minor spectrum of it just to clarify

  • @pimpdog93 well he might not have the form of asperger's you have....but he might be within the spectrum....

  • Just found this - Jeez! I hope he's now all grown up and got a life!!!

  • you sound like George W Bush

  • i loved your video i dont have aspergers myself but i find it very intresting. it helped me understand how AS works. its pretty sad to see all the people who dont get it. i liked the fact that you said you wouldn't change having AS and i dont see why you should it doesnt change who you are just how you interact and trust me people arent that intresting. so why change?

  • why is it called aspergers?

  • @Ashtonkessler It was named after the man who discovered it, Hans Asperger.

  • Ignore the assholes, we will rule the world. Infact we pretty much already do, but thats a different story.

  • @CodexAlimentarius1

    haha :P it's true ^^

  • this was very well done, you absolutely do have Asbergers and explained yourself really well an dprobably helped a lot of others who find themselves with the same symptoms. well done!

  • You don't have Asperger's, you're probably just trying to figure out why people don't get you. You're just weird and unsocial. Deal with it. Or you're high.

  • @Redbaron011

    ahaha what a dick

  • i hope he's high

  • Comment removed

  • Zeolite powder cures the paranoia and severe anxiety of aspergers. It saved my life, and I promised myself I would try to help others. do whatever you want with the info im just the messenger.

  • 10 Biggest Myths about people with Aspergers Syndrome (cont.):

    6. They have either above average IQs or below average IQs (not average IQs)

    7. They lack interest in normal activities or pastimes

    8. They are always easily annoy or disturbed my minor discomfort

    9. They are an embarrassment to society

    10. They can never lead fulfilling or successful lives

  • @xXRockXLobsterXx

Fuck you. You don't know shit, proof??

  • i hav it and lov it it sometimes it gets me bummed tho

    SHUT UP gregjocka!!!!

  • My son is 15 and has Asperger's. He was just recently diagnosed. I want you to know that having this syndrome doesn't diminish your worth at all. I love my son the same and do not feel he has let me down. He can be anything he wants to be and can be sucessful. Please don't listen to those who hat on you, know God created you specially and for a purpose. He has a reason for this and will make good of it.

  • I was diagnosed with AS at age 9.

  • I too have Asperger's Syndrome Ricky, I don't like it much, but that's just my opinion. I was facinated by lights when I was really small, of course I'm also legally blind so that may have something to do with it. I used to lose my temper regularly when i was young, that doesn't happen so much now, but when it does I go right off the handle.

  • I strongly urge anyone posting video content to only allow comments that they have firstly approved. That way we can avoid reading the filth that was posted by 'cowmilkydude'. Fortunately his account is now suspended but he will mostly likely be back. However, he should be easy to detect.

If anyone has problems with people posting hateful comments and your not sure what to do, contact me and i'll do my best to help.

  • All of you living with this problem just do the best you can, find people who will encourage and support you. Stay away from the ones who make fun of you. We people can be so unkind, we treat animals poorly and each other even worse. God help us.

  • Aspergers, Autism, Bi-polar, ADHD

They all the same fruit, just different name and colour

  • @cjellwood

yep, they're all apart of the obsessive compulsive spectrum

    and tourette syndrome too

  • ive got it too and this vid was made on my birthday WTF!!!

  • The only way AS has really affected me is at a social level. Sure, I do have a few friends, but I have difficulty making new ones, since I find it difficult to properly interact with people who aren't my friends. I also have low esteem and low confidence, so for the most part I have approach anxiety which doesn't help matters either. Basically I'm the guy that sits alone in class, with no one to talk to. It sucks.

I'm trying to improve my situation now though.

  • I've got Aspergers syndrome too.

  • We all do (but I consider mine to be borderline autism savant)!

  • Cool!
