I have this documentary on DVD and it;s always been a favourite. I was however, disappointed to find that due to a copyright problem the original "johnny B Goode" wasn't played. However its still the king :-)

I have never understood the issue of HD when it comes to converting vintage stock to what they are calling HD when it was never filmed in HD? I will add this though, I attended the re release premier of Elvis on Tour, on the big screen, in Memphis at the Orpheum theatre, & I have to say the picture quality of what their calling HD is a major improvement over prevous format's, still don't know is it really HD?

@FrankoEPFan if its recorded on film, then you can create an HD digital master. they did this with EOT. but it wasn't 35mm like Elvis That's The Way It Is. it was recorded on 16mm. but the quality still looks really great.

@FrankoEPFan no, it´s no real HD the size was recorder is 1020x480 pix and the real HD size is 1920x1080 it´s only a convertion but looks good.

Sorry, but this is NOT true HD. You cannot take a dvd source and have it be true HD. You would need to start with film source or blu-ray source. UNfortunately, this is neither. Quit trying to pass this off as HD.

youtube's highest quality for non-hd is 640x480

the source is 720x576.

so i upscaled it to HD to take advantage of the higher quality.

if you would have read the description, you would've known.

I did read the description, and I knew that you upscaled it. My main complaint is that you are making people think that this is HD, which it is not. No disrespect toward you, or Elvis, as I appreciate him and that is what brought me to this page. I just get frustrated when things like this, that will confuse the uninformed consumer into thinking this is what actual HD will look like. Then they will think that their tv and videos look just as good, and not upgrade to HD or Blu-ray.
