i personally wear shitloads of makeup on a daily basis because I LIKE IT. it pisses me the fuck off when someone tells me "you don't need to wear all that to look pretty"... i. do. not. care. obviously if i didn't like the way it looked on me, i wouldn't be wearing it.

if i wanted to look 'natural' then i wouldn't wear makeup.

why is that so hard for people to get?

It just REALLY frustrates me when people don't understand why I wear my makeup. It's not that I'm insecure or anything, I just like experimenting and trying new looks. Well, make up was orginally made for women to cover up age spots, acne, wrinkles, under I circle, and things like that. It was made to help women look flawless and younger sometime wearing to much make up can me you look worse. For example, all of that I shadow and eyeliner makes you look high, tired, drunk and sometimes trashy but hey you can wear what ever you want. Your opinion is your opinion and this was my opinion. A little color, eyeliner, and things like that can go a long way.

there's so much to say about this topic and i don't want to ramble. i've been really annoyed too lately with this controversy. i don't wear makeup to cover anything up, cause i have no reason to cover up. and i think i look great without it too and sometimes don't wear any. however you will usually see me wearing, its just so much fun. shopping for it, putting it on, i've loved makeup ever since i can remember. i wish there was more people where i live to connect with who also love makeup.

I guess you could say i wear a lot of makeup, but in my opinion not really. i don't wear much of anything on my face but i love love love colored eyeshadows and eyeliner. it's just so much fun and amazing i always try to learn as much as i can about products, applying techniques, the whole 9 yards. i plan on becoming a makeup artist. wearing makeup should be about YOU. not how you want others to view you.

On the contrary if your makeup contains SPF or antioxidants, etc. it's better for your skin.
