Jayasuriya is a one of greatest batsman in the world.probably he is the best hard hitter in modern cricket who comes up with very unique shots.I love Jayasuriya!

@dikramful I dont like comparing batsmen across generations. You ve got to understand that there was a certain Sir Vivian Richards too. M not pulling down Sanath one bit.. Comparing anyone with Viv is a gr8 complement too. Recently in the last 4-5 years even Sehwag is a potent destroyer of attacks. But from 1995-2004 Sanath was in a league of his own. Lofted Drives and powerful flicks OMG.. But stop comparing him to Sachin-Lara.

I think that has more to do with the rest of the Indian side being weaker and far too reliant on Tendulkar's performance. Example being Tendulkars 175 against Australia. He practically won the match, leaving 18 runs to be scored from 19 deliveries yet the rest of the team collapsed like a house of cards after he was dismissed.

It was in the Aus vs SL match in the 2009T20 WC.Sanath got out playing that shot to Bret Lee and Warner took a superb catch on the boundary.
