How do you get the shield on one hand and a spell for other hand?

I know how to equip two spells in one hand, but since I have a laptop, when I cilck on both the right and left mouse button it takes it as me clicking the scroll wheel. Is there any way to fix this? In other words, how do you use both at the same time?

How can i remove the spell and dual wield swords?

Whenever I try to combine spells like Flames or Ice Spike, I cast out of both of my hands instead of combining the same spell into one more powerful one. This happened with every spell. Any fixes out now?

im playing as an imperial mage, and i cannot dual wield spells, i cannot put fire on the left and and fire on the right, or mayb im jus doin it wrong

You have to remove the weapon.... son of a... i would have never figured that out... stupid UI. 10x man, i've been looking for an explination on how to do it for days now, all i had found was that you use the mouse, whihc obviously didnt work when i first tried it on my own...

but can you dual wield the SAME spell? like, two hands of flames?

@LocosJopos1 Yes you can. In that case you just have to left/right click the same spell. I'm doing it all the time atm with fireballs. With the right perks you can even stun the targets when you dual cast the same spell. Its very very useful.

I found out why it failed.

I went on controls, and found out that the M1 was not equipped on anything so now its all fixed c:

@TrololTroll As DragosMP already said - the Gui is bugged and sometimes you need to restart the game to make it work. Sometimes I do it 2-3 times until it works. I hope they'll release a patch soon and fix this problem...
