  • Is that E powered or gas? Works very well. There is a simple stable method. It ads little weight.Gyro.

  • a helicopter lifts with a rotor blowing down a coanda effect lifter uses air blowing over a curved bowl from a fan on top the bowl produces the lift like an airplane wing that fan could not lift it if it was used as a heli setup without the bowl shaped fusalage!! thats the difference

  • Didn t you see that under proppeler is no space? How helycopter?

  • Grasshopper sized aliens? hehe

  • Im no expert but... well sir, what you have there is a round helicopter.

  • ooh its a helicopter dah

  • whats the song?

  • That's pretty cool!

  • :D looks like fake?

  • thanks to henri coanda

  • looks gay

  • "Coandacrafts" are more energy efficient than helicopters?

  • Cool hat.

  • idiots ...

  • @gloup81 This is not fake. smart ass do your research

  • @gloup81 Fake nothing. Do your research.

  • @gloup81 not fake dumbass do your research

  • Why are you so close to the U.F.O.? Run!

  • 80s theme music?? like off of some damn englnd show that had 4 kids who rode on bicycles and where chased by bad guys lmfao

  • boring

  • that is piece of poop.thumbs up for poop mobile

  • muy interesante .

  • freckin helicopter .. have a look at flying saucer test flight some english guys working for US intelligence.. have made something a lot more advanced than that ..

  • If a plane loses its engine, it glides, for a while at least.

If a helicopter loses its engine, it autorotates, at least in theory.

If a coanda flying saucer loses its engine, it becomes a round brick.

Just thought I'd point that out.

  • @NVanWendy LOL

  • whats the point??

after all its not about making a round thing fly.. its about developing a sophisitcated technology that flys without analogue methods of propulsion and can move from standstill to intergalactic speeds instantly -and perhap[s even move through other dimensions.

a rocket shaped craft that can do this makes more sense than a flying disc with old helicopter technology as a propulsion method.

Might as well hang a bicycle from a tree and build a cardboard disc around it

  • @dharmathai

I don't think you understand what is going on here.

    /watch?v=Ll1VUzMzbao&feature=related

  • my turn please

  • wow you have a helicopter with counter rotating blades

  • where did you get so cool remix of cartoon Mask melody :) ??

  • hdrogen powered generator onboard could generate electricity for electric motor .you could also use electricity to make it hybreed lifter/coanda uav .then it would be a ufo ....

  • @dozerminer No because you know what it is, so it is an IFO or FO (Identified flying object or flying object) And if it isn't flying its an O (Object) ;D

  • I like the cheesy thumbs up at the end hahaha ... classic just classic :P

  • You can hardly even see the string.

  • thats because there is no string douche. its a helicopter.

  • you should paint it silver, it's cool but you should a rig a couple more small scaled engines vertically all around the body so you'll have a little more stability, trust and steering

  • ive heard this tune on an early nineties dutch porn!

  • Why does it work on a small scale, but not on a larger scale? Is it due to weight?

  • The Avro never got more than a couple feet off the ground.

  • That was because the system for directional control wasn't working well. They were simply afraid to climb very high without any steering. The Avro was not using ground effect for lift; the exhaust ducts were all around the rim of the machine; there was no downward airflow.

In the Avro, lift was produced by Coanda effect on a fixed plate internal to the machine. The little r.c. saucer is producing lift on an external surface.

I like how much it looks like an "Adamski"-type UFO...

  • White dohickeys? They keep the airflow tight as it flows down the outside of the body. The air isn't blown down from inside, as most think - the air is blown down the outside of the curved body/shape from the top, and the fins keep the flow of air in the right downward direction. The air flow follows the curve of the body - a bit like placing a smooth ball under running water. The water flows around the ball, and exits from the bottom. Similar effect.

    .

  • Thanks!

  • What are the white doheckees for? Just design?

  • it works!! cool

  • Nice :D

  • Notice something about it: it does not spin. The torque would usually cause them to spin. Our model helis usually use a tail rotor, or two rotors to counteract this tendency. The flying saucers you buy at the store also spin the opposite direction of the propeller. That is just one thing really cool about this design IMO.

  • it still uses the same propulsion technology as a helicopter, a rotor.... bfd

  • a Romanian idea from 100 years ago still in use

  • @pkclaudiubc i think the hindus actually had the first ufo technology .. romanian idea lmao... what ABOUT MICHELLANGELO, he had detailed drawings of helicopter more than 100 years ago i assure you ..

  • @27dangerman yes but coanda put it in practice

  • @pkclaudiubc have you never heard of the avrocar or haunebu ???

  • @27dangerman But have you heard of them ? Do you know what they are ? At least you could have searched on google. Both the avrocar and haunebu are lenticular aerodynes, large replicas of Coanda`s inventions, that were flying on the Coanda effect. More than that, Coanda was captured by the nazis in 1940, and haunebu it is believed to be actually his project.

  • @27dangerman Coanda invented the jet airplane. He discovered what we now call "the Coanda effect". The flying machines based on the Coanda effect, are not helicopters. Search for the "lenticular aerodyne" on Google.

Oh, and the jet airplane, the aerodyne, the modern ejection seat(see Anastase Dragomir), the jetpack(see Justin Capra) are all Romanian inventions.

  • @vdrobull dude i think youre sick, the english and the germans invented the jet engine. Coanda took and IC engine and made a turbine from it..... Get an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering and then you can spew you delusions upon us.

  • @bs09ags I wasn`t talking about jet propulsion, which dates way back if you want to think of it(fireworks anyone ?). And i wasn`t talking about the jet engine either, which, between us, dates back to the Hero`s "Aeolipile"(that was built BC, nothing to do with Germans or English). I was talking about the jet airplane. The first ever jet airplane built was "Coanda-1910", built in 1910.

    Now, have a nice day.

  • @bs09ags Oh, and by the way, you were reffering to the turbojet engine(invented around 1930), the term of "jet engine" includes a wider variety of engines.

  • @pkclaudiubc is it that old? do you have a source? I've seen one from the 60s

  • @DanFrederiksen Henri Coanda first tested it back in 1910 at one of the first paris air shows .... you could google it

  • @pkclaudiubc if you mean his plane then that's not the same principle.

  • @DanFrederiksen it's the same principle ...but instead of pushing the flying mashine up it powers it forwards

  • @pkclaudiubc no it isn't. obviously quite different design:

    upload. wikimedia. org/wikipedia/commons/8/89/Coanda_1911_patent.jpg

much more like a turbine compressor than a coanda saucer. he did later designs that are closer to these modern ones. but not 1910

  • Cool! nice work

  • The Music is Gay! But the Saucer is cool :)

  • Comment removed

  • is not tha same like a chopper, choper needs another fan for it's stability - tail rotor(The tail rotor is a fan mounted on the tail boom of the helicopter, with a lateral axis of rotation. The thrust it creates is offset from the center of gravity, producing torque which counters the torque created by the main rotor)

  • UFOS ARE REAL :O!

  • its not a box. not a plate. its a ball! omg go on to google earth! and aliens are real but its the same as the black ops in stuff. but what we can prove is mutiplyed lights in the sky! it could be a ufo....or it could be something els! comment me to find out more!

  • I saw 3 ufo's flying in V formation during the comets (had 2 that year) *Heavens -Gate* It read my mind also. I asked myself while they flew over "hey...I thought these things could fly in weird-odd fast paths that WE couldn't handle" after I said that, the one at back side left Jumped in front of leader and zipped back and forth 3 times VERY fast!! I saw them for about 14 to 25 seconds (time is hard to judge when you are amazed) They dissapeared soon after. BLIP....GONE!!

  • Very nice! It looks like the gyro could use some tweaking, but other than that, very nice job.

  • NICE, thanks for posting :)

  • LOTS of space under the skirt, a real one should be very roomy.

  • Another proof! Aliens really exist ppl! (rofl)

  • yea, antigrav, and trans-dimensional homopolesmokography! I was cornholed by an illegal alien, so I should know!

  • lol classic lil 90s sobg ^^

  • cooool UFO

  • now add some cool LEDs, film it by night and you'll see the world wide UFO-community freak out. LOL.

  • ufos were sighted before this, but personally i think alot of ufos are manmade(black ops)

  • of course they're manmade....as you suggest, they're probably black ops or test flights.....alien stuff is just to divert and entertain people, keep their minds stuck with unquestionable and unproofable stories.....

  • not soo aliens are real . and on earth for 500.00 yrs as far back as egypt and samarian text acent artafacts dont lie why u dont see them is cause thay live in the earth .not on it did u know earth is hollow ?and has an inner sun as all planets do in our solar sys .gota get outside the box

  • a bit too far out of the box, you might fall of the earth since it's a plate lol

  • whats the voltage on your battery

  • thats no ufo ufos are antigrav not turboprop.....

  • you retard, where in his video or description do you see the term "ufo". Go choke on a dick and die.

  • HAH!!!

  • It could all be done with no moving parts at all. This is just a middle step between the crap we have now and what is easily within our grasp.

  • It's called a frisbee.

  • Do you think it would be possible to add a video camera, thermal camera, and a gps tracking system and still have it be under the wieght limit if I used a slightly more powerful engine. (All of the above devices being at minimal wieght available)

  • I have one of toy! it is of isopor! e flies of truth!

  • BOOOOoooOOOrriingg!!!!

  • cool

  • watch?v=SEc7RUMU6z0

  • very nice, the video, adn very nie r/c model but the music sucks!

  • Nicely done, I can't imagine that would be very easy to control, great job!

  • the lower the center of mass is, the easier it would be to control.

  • cool..

  • if they can build small ones, why not big ones? boomtish

  • They have back in the 1940's!

  • no they did not.

  • why

  • Very cool craft!!

Im guessing that the four flaps are used for controlling direction, but how did you cancel out the rotors torque? I checked the provided link and it has photos of only one rotor.

  • The servo controlled flaps at the perimeter of the craft change the downward direction of the thrust created by the top rotor. I've been wanting to build one of these myself when I finally get the time.

  • Ok - now put a tank gun on the bottom.

  • Reminds me of the nazi program to create vertical take off interceptors

  • Coanda Effect is air flowing down over a curved surface and giving lift. Henry Coanda invented this in 1950's The Avro Saucer was a Coanda effect craft

Now for all you UFO buffs out there PLASMA has the same effect as air, works in space and makes UFO look fuzzy by day, glowing by night

Think about it I just gave you a way to identify fakes

  • ha. intriguing how we all think that we're not alone in the universe and yet we now hav inventd the flying saucer...

  • uh i dont know that much about aircratf what is the coanda affect?

  • It's also interesting that this RC craft looks a lot, and behaves a lot like the photos of the Cooper's UFO. makes me wonder if someone might have been messing about with Coanda lift technique back then.

  • Wow! I've heard of Coanda affect a long time ago. Never saw it put into action til now. Thanks.

  • very impressive. like a helicopter. seems like it needs little energy. what makes it not rotate around itself?

  • heat is needed in the middle of the thing

  • how does heat help it not to rotate?

  • Those little wings on the edge makes it not rotate itself

  • no, i believe those are vortex generators, they are used to keep an even distribution of airflow over the surface of a wing, but in this case, the body of the ufo. I believe the purpose is to maintain even lift, not to rotate the craft.

  • cool. Keep reaching for the stars.

  • The music is perfect. :)

  • How come it could,nt land on the pad is there something wrong with the steering system it leens to one side when it'sin flight is that a result of torque it needs further development

  • can you please learn to use punctuation, to save the rest of us the trouble of trying to read what the hell you are writing?

  • I know I feel like I'm reading the rantings of a 5 year old when they type like this with no stop or period and then switch to a question then make a statement and then back to asking something but God forbid they put a friggin period...lol

  • ok then show us

  • Can it fly yet?

  • you just have to light it on fire just like the real ones

  • prowd to be romanian

  • ah, I WANT ONE! awesome

  • If nothing else, this shows how easy it is to fake a "UFO" video. Imagine a model that was part helium balloon and part electric r/c power. That's why every so-called UFA video I have seen is obvious BS.

  • UFA?

  • Damn fingers! They sometimes seem to have their own ideas of what to type. U F O !!! Heh Heh

  • U.F.O!

  • Doesn't seem to be much stable though

  • neither do miniature helicopters. it's just the pilot

  • I want that. Whats with the shit music

  • hey, it's porn music! you don't like porn music?

  • 39 ytl ye helikopter satıyorlar boşuna uğraşmış salak

  • i want one.

  • whats the mechanical advantage between de coanda efect versus direct lift turbine?

  • from what i understand the use of the coanda effect takes the thrust from the fan and directs it around the ship, in doing so it actually "grabs" more air when it does this so the net effect is greater than what the fan alone actually would do. i also believe that the laminar air flow over the top of the surfaces takes advantage of bernoulli's principal and generates extra lift.

  • what more lift can be generated?30%?50%?

  • i'm not entirely sure. sorry.

  • ya que no se crea energia, el coanda funcionara de modo similar a una helice mas grande y lenta, sin la desventaja mecanica de un reductor, podria ser aplicable a micro uav, interesante.

  • I´m a roumanian I know you´re right lol!..

  • the only advantage is the simplicity of the steering system. You dont get more thrust than a direct lift turbine,in fact the shape itself produces downthrust. Hovever, this can be minimised.

  • could you rewrite your question in english please? I`m not that good at spanish...:P

  • ok thanks for your answers.

  • Lol.

  • are you sure?the coanda sucks and moves a bigger air mass with less speed than a direct lift fan it seems to me like an helicopter but without the mechanical complexity.the down thrust is the advantage.

  • Cool. Real saucers don't use chemical thrust or propellars of any kind, they have gravity amplifiers

  • Have you heard of the lifter project, or just lifters?

  • gj 2 bad its allready been invented, its called a helicopter.

  • Punniabi, whats ur prob, they just made it for fun, they aren't trying to prove/invent anything dang whats worng w/u

  • I dont have a problem I am just saying its using the same technology as a helicopter just diffrent model..

  • Not really. Read a little bit before posting.

  • listen bro, it uses the same method to fly as a helicopter, relax ok?

  • No it really does not actually. Maybe you should really start reading. Punab, this device uses the coanda effect unlike a normal helicopter.

  • ok sry

  • Punniabi. I've met guys before who, no matter what someone is doing or thinking about doing, always find some cause to slight it.

Guys like that usually don't make interesting projects themselves, but they're usually ready with the best way to kick the shins of those who do.

    It's pitiful, really.

  • No. This is the COANDA effect. Patented by french aeronautical-genius Henri Coanda. This is saucer-technologie.

  • He is actually Romanian. And he also the guy who built the first jet powered aircraft, in 1910.

  • First read about it and then talk

  • Nice job. I just put up a video on the original Vectron (Before Airhogs) and describe how it works. 5 Stars!

  • Check out : Ralph Ring , Chemtrails , Tesla Free Energy , Car on water , Sarajevo ufo , Project Disclosure... Have a nice day every body

  • how more freakin fake does it get!!!! come up with something real not rc

  • um it says rc dummy. y would you click on it and think its real ?

  • Does it have ac?

  • I'm going to build oue but i will use two counter rotating rotors for stability.

  • Top Stuff!

I always wanted to know if it would work!

Papers are just papers you know

  • that thing cant abduct, can it ???!!!

  • nice toy!

  • you should fly it over someone and make droppings on them. heh

  • ya know those little flying robots in half-life 2 that fly around the city and keep tabs on everyone? Thats all i see here.

  • It's a star wars droid!

  • lol get this thing in the houseing area and scare the shit out of people thinking its the real thing at night rig some LEDs on it and scare them lol...

  • seems like this could be scaled up..

  • yes, known as a helicopter.

  • similar ,but not equal
