he play what he feel, trust me. y'all ain't knowin nothin about anything. keep yer mouf shut. music be a folk tradition, y'all just wishin you could lay it down like this. you gon' hear 'bout this boy... real talk.
Oh, everyone shut up. He's a great guitarist, an even better guy, and so what if the playing-behind-the-back isn't original? He's having fun and playing good music!
Technical skill and absolutely no soul. I don't sense that he has any idea why he plays anything other than knowing that he's "seen it before, so it must be the right thing to do". A prodigy talent wasted because he doesn't yet have any musical roots. First decide what music you "feel" and then show us. Otherwise it's just an amalgam of riffs thrown together.
I hear he is recording with Chris Layton (Stevie Ray Vaughan's drummer) and Scott Nelson (Bassist for Kenny Wayne Shepherd) this week in Austin. Can't wait to hear it!
Wow. Playing behind his back. And with his teeth! Like we've never seen that before. And under his leg! I know I've seen that somewhere before. Oh Ya. Over 40 years ago at Monterey Pop. Please stop it. It's embarrassing.
