Unlike fumoffu better than the other 2 companion series mainly because of its focus on the comedic romantic tension between Sagara and Kaname. I liked Full Metal Panic! but was always disappointed when the series when into action sequences. Fumoffu had a different voice and pointed the audience to Sousuke's antics in Jindai High School. That's just my opinion. Don't get me wron the other two had HILARIOUS moments too but fumoffu had it in every episode

@coughful I have the impression Sousuke had a clue of what the bacteria was after reading the manual for pretty much whole episode and asked Kaname to take her clothes off so they wouldn't be infected (you can see them uninfected on bed), the Sousuke I know wouldn't do, or even understand "that" ;D

@yunfanz problem is that when I was still into it, I would try to look for it but it was very fragmented. Finding the volumes was a hassle as not many sources had them uptodate and there were many times when volumes were just skipped in the middle. I have also lost my interest in anime over the years but your comment has actually made me a bit interested again as i really want to know what happens between the 2. if you have any uptodate or reliable whatever source you can send i appreciate it.

@TomoExcel Since 'Full Metal Panic - Fumoffu' has nothing to do with the actual plots of the real story but takes place in between 'Full Metal Panic' and 'Full Metal Panic - The Second Raid' I'd say it matters a lot or not at all. It all depends on if you actually plan on seeing the rest or not 'cause then, yeah, you need to watch the first series to actually get anything.

few good scenes in there but IMO the scenes the the dvd's are the best to the two songs for the opening and ending credits but good job! and if poeple never found out who sings them they are opening-> so thats love /ending-> the wind that blows, both sung by the same person named Shimokawa, Mikuni they are both on the same cd which has nothing but songs from anime shows, she is a popular singer for anime shows!

The "Fumoffu" series is actually the second season and it's a comedic romance.

Full Metal Panic! is season 1 and it's 24 episodes.

Then there's season 3, which is called The Second Raid or "TSR" for short; and it goes back to being serious.

This is a mecha anime about a young mercenary who is tasked with defending a high school girl from kidnappers, etc.

She is not an ordinary human (no spoilers).
