  • Hey; Can I come over? That train is beautiful! Whistle has a great sound and the loco has some great stack talk.

  • that's awesome! If I had something like that around my house, people would call the cops because of the noise. has that ever happened to you?

  • That was just too cool even down to putting water in it.The baggage car was a sharp looking car.I hope you show it again after your repairs.thanks for shareing

  • Any chance of more footage of this very awesome setup? Would love to see more of it! These are skills I wish I had, as that locomotive looks very scale, as well as the cars!

  • @maz323se He's rebuilt it in recent years, so it looks even better now. I'm planning on getting some better footage if I ever go back to visit home.

  • Good thing you don't run that in New Jersey. The dumb state would make you get a boilers license and then you would have the steam loco boiler certified every 2 years. NJ, the not so fun state.

  • what's the baggige car for?

  • What fun, and such a great whistle. To bad it doesn't go all the way down the block!

  • Very realistic sounding whistle. Nice train.

  • My turn.

  • Awsome stuff, now the greatest part of the train beside the steam locomotive, is the dog in the cattle car!

  • Nice work! love the detail!

  • Too cool! Bet the neighbors just love the horn!

  • What Gauge is it?

  • @JasonsStories He did rides every Sunday morning when I was growing up. All free. It was a bit of a town event every week.

  • @biruboto Dude.....just.......dude..... thats so awesome

  • is that 11/2 scale runing on 71/2'' track if so , come by and run on are club track in molalla, oregon, you can see are track on you tube,'''' molalla train park'' later bob

  • ALL I CAN SAY is "Completely MIND BLOWING".....wow how wonderful!!!

    Steam freak Steve In Canada

  • awesome.......how long did it take?

  • HOW about a full sized double arm lower quadrant semaphore for the side of the house just beyond the water tank? Aside from that small oversight, fantatstic.

  • Did you have to get permission to build this track around your house in case neighbours complained about noise etc.

I think people here in the UK would complain unless it was in the rural backlands! Nice footage!

  • Excellent! I'll come and play any time. I bet your Dad's neighbours just LOVE that whistle! LOL.

  • their was very little graffiti on train cars back in 1940

  • this is awesome. what this built from a kit or from scratch?

  • All from scratch.

  • wow that is impressive.

  • My wife was getting really excited when we watched this video together. All that pulling power and torque. That's power!

  • dont you just love that sound:)

  • Great Video! Do you know what gauge the tracks are?

  • Thats something really special!

  • Great video!!!! Keep 'em rolling and **** diesels

  • yes, **** diesels.

  • GREAT VIDEO, CAN WE SEE MORE?

  • Just LOVE all that steam in winter scene!

  • Yeah ehhh. I rode that sucker.

  • I wish that engine was loud enough to hear out here on Robertson Road... heck, I wish it ran around my 5 acres!

  • Nice work!!!!! Love the steam in the snow part at the end!!!!!!! Also love the sounds of a minature steam locomotive on a minature railway, blow the whistle as often as you can..... If the neighbours dont like it, move next door to me mate!!!!!

  • Would of been nice to see a little more.

  • Great video and is impressive is its scope of effort to build and maintain the train and tracks.

    ********

Amtrakeng - I'm sure they only blow the whistle when you're listening, not all the time.
