  • I build arcade machines for people from scratch (I build the cabinet and usually use an HD TV as a monitor depending on what the customer wants). MAME machines are becoming pretty popular. In my line of work, we just stick a computer into the machine mostly because it's WAY easier than this method. This is more of a "poor man" method, and most of my customers are definitely NOT poor. MAME arcades run anywhere between $2,000 and $11,000.

  • Very clearly explained thank you!

  • I'm going to use this video as a basis for my own MAME machine.

  • "please no cheap shots at my lousy accent." haha your funny man. Your cab is nice, I had to take mine up art to upgrade it a bit... Throwing in a xbox 360

  • @nikomo0 So you're seriously telling us that you stopped watching just because of that tiny mistake? What is wrong with you?

  • Very interesting video, thanks.

  • Why is your monitor so green? :S

  • You sound like a indian hooker in hormonal treatment

  • i didnt know stephen hawking was into mame haha

  • ur joysticks seem to be the size i need for my cabinet. can u tell me what website you got them from?

  • well i kept it , but i was wondering the board is in perfect condition. but the metal slug board has 2 humungous cartidges on it. is any of this worth anything , like the coin door. the control board? cuz i was gonna replace it with xarcade so i could simply use a usb port instead of wiring them all up

  • hah sounds like mine i found a discarded metal slug machine and removed the insides and replaced it with a computer and new screen that was compatible

  • bloody hell u dnt want much do u

"i want a original arcade moniter, push buttens..."

  • very nice man!

  • Thank you for these videos, they are going to be very useful to me.

  • Was that a NEO GEO MVS? 1-Cart Slot?

  • I just explained in this video HOW TO DO IT !

  • yes i realise that.but idk how to get rid of windows,so it doesn't show.i found a site but it just confused me.and some other stuff.plus i don't have the money at the moment so i don't need to worry right now

  • can u cheat the arcade with a coin

  • LOL GALA-GA

  • whats the name of the monitor 15k software? i heard atweaker but i cant understand him

  • On windows, it's called soft15khz by sailorsat. You should have no problems googling for it. If you want to see how it looks compared to not using it, look at my videos for one titled "native vs scaled" comparison video.
