To my ear this is Bob Engemann's solo magnum opus during his tenure with The Lettermen. Vocals and instrumentation are most wonderfully arranged, artfully played and skillfully recorded.

One of the best songs of the Lettermen. But sorry to inform you that this song was sung by Bob Engemann, one of the original Lettermen. Bob had several solos like Windy (Concert released sometime in 1967), That Lucky Old Sun from their You'll Never Walk Alone album.
