games the virtual console needs: the original Metal Gear games, Herzog Zwei. if it had those games i'd never leave the house again :D (not really :P) i mean yeah i can just download an emulator on my PC...but there is just SOMETHING about playing old games on a console/TV using a gamepad that the keyboard can't match...
I really hope they keep their promise to do a better job on the 3DS...this video is depressing. Nintendo's got the coolest shit in any online video game store in the world and you can't find stuff and and takes forever to get around....
Will the Wii Shop Channel ever add any new good games and not just old games from old consoles? I was very happy to see a mario game I used to play and Super smash bros. But now the shop channel is boring. I wish they'd add sorta new games like Super smash bros BRAWL for example and maybe other newer games.
The only thing that I would ask from Nintendo is to please add a short gameplay video for each game. There are some great games on the shop channel but there is a mountain of garbage covering it all. Hell, even if the game isn't that good I'd be more likely to buy it if could see the game in action.
@Xbox8563 I agree with you, the Wii needs Sega Saturn and Sega Dreamcast games. I would also like to see Sega CD games as well but I don't think they are as marketable.
I´m not sure if i got your question, but if i remember correctly the Wii shop comes with the Wii (Why should you pay for a shop?) .The points are the currency (like on XBOX Live) for buying the games. You can buy Points using your Credit Card.
@tempestavenger That doesn't make sense because Punch-Out came from an arcade game (even if it's not a direct port) so did double dragon and I'm pretty Super C is on virtual console as well (also an arcade game). Why would they have to release the arcade port of Contra before they did the NES version?
the ps3 move may be a ripoff of the wii but the ps3 has a better library of games that are not motion control...just saying the wii dose not have good games...bad third party support

I think when you reach the Sega Genesis download section in the Virtual Console, the Shop music should scratch to a halt, and then the voice from Sega Rally should bust in..."GAME OVER, YEAAAAAAAH!"

They do need lots more games like goldeneye, dk 64, and have evenore systems and games

I have Wii console, but I can't connect with wii shop chanel(it says, that it's not currently being offered but I don't know why). I also don't know how to upload songs from sd card. Even if i put a card with some songs into the slot the rock archive says that on the card there are no songs. PLEASE HELP, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! (In GH warriors of rock)

The Wii shop rocks...downloaded quite a few games from different systems....currently (and God knows how long i will have to) waiting for Jurassic Park from the SNES and Quackshot and Road Rash 1,2 & 3 from the Sega Megadrive/Genesis....this vid talks about the Wii shop channel music(which is cool)...but the tunes on Road Rash are awesome,as well as the addictive gameplay....check it out here on the tube if your unfamiliar

the wii shop channel has a great selection of games, but if the games were less expensive, say $3, £3 in the UK each, for example then people would use it a lot more. plus, more profit for nintendo.

@DuleDule1996 I agree that the games on WII are sometimes more expensive than just buying the cartridges, but I like the fact that you can have alot of games in one little console instead of of many, many consoles with boxes and boxes of cartridges all over the place.
@actionfigures95 I totally agree with you i still have my nes, but their is just a good feeling that you can download games on the wii. it's more convenient, and the old games do look a million times better hooked up to HD. to me its like how i converted all my dvds to MP4 and put them on my PS3, so i never have to look through my dvds again. i just turn on the PS3 and scroll through the titles. Its all about being Convenient. Plus you never have to worry about the games not working.
My problem is the point system, Let's say you buy Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles, you have $4 left, $1 more can get you Super Mario Bros, but you must get $20 more Wii points just to get it.

Great vid! The music in the channel and gets me in a shopping mood, tons of classic games, fun WiiWare games, and all at affordable prices! This is one of the reasons I bought a Wii. ;) I'm jealous that your speed is faster than mine. LOL.

@actionfigures95 no you wouldn't! Believe me! Games you can buy for two bucks for the NES would cost 5 times as much! You'd be better off just buying a super nintendo or NES

@DuleDule1996 I agree that the games on WII are sometimes more expensive than just buying the cartridges, but I like the fact that you can have alot of games in one little console instead of of many, many consoles with boxes and boxes of cartridges all over the place.

@actionfigures95 I totally agree with you i still have my nes, but their is just a good feeling that you can download games on the wii. it's more convenient, and the old games do look a million times better hooked up to HD. to me its like how i converted all my dvds to MP4 and put them on my PS3, so i never have to look through my dvds again. i just turn on the PS3 and scroll through the titles. Its all about being Convenient. Plus you never have to worry about the games not working.

i can access to wii shop channel cuz it takes like 10 mins to load or more and wont let me download anything :( i miss my good wii which is faster

My problem is the point system, Let's say you buy Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles, you have $4 left, $1 more can get you Super Mario Bros, but you must get $20 more Wii points just to get it.

@bleedingxxaurora Yeah, but they kind of need that cash. Am I the only one who thinks Nintendo's E3 presentation was only the tip of an iceberg of awesomeness that is to come? I only download games I can't emulate properly, but the Wii net loads of money for Nintendo. They better use it wisely though, I don't want to go to Target only to find I already own every game worth buying and see 7 rows of Littlest Pet Shop, that drove me insane like WTF is all sh*t? Where is Metroid? WTF?

The problem with the Wii shopping channel & xbox live that both of them not available in most countries.
(I live in UAE & neither Xbox live nor Wii shopping channel are available her , but we have the PSN… sucks )
