Jack, the job of the Leader of the Opposition is not simply to vote down the government. Stop attacking Dion over supporting us. As leader of the NDP, you basically always voted against the Conservative government, so what the hell makes you think you'd be an effective opposition? Elections every year? Gimme a break.

How can anybody defend Jack Layton when he clearly disregarded what Dion said , and wiggled out of saying anything on the subject by reattacking Dion by using Harper & others. When you are in the right , you should immediately defend the present topic , not run away like a poodle looking for a tablelamp to hide under. "Stephen , he's shouting at me again". "Mom , he's doing it again". Jack acts like a squeegykid who just got arrested for being in the middle of traffic.

yeah right we can make a bunch of comparisons of politicians doing that, its called the news. thats obvious, but even then i dont buy what you just said. your'e just being childish. the voters obviously were not impressed with anything dion said, how many seats did the liberals from that live tv disaster? dion and igatieuf should just avoid discussion all together. every time layton speaks he gets votes, can't say that about dion can yah?

Someone should ask Mr. Layton , what he has done wrong in Toronto , to allow restaurants to have rats easily seen from the sidewalks. Why Toronto needs to address their "bedbug" issues , which almost date back further than I can remember. Or why Conrad Black was allowed to bank on Canadian funding for over 25 yrs. , when he proved to be , not only a Canadian & British fraud , but an American fraud. He should think about that when he flails his hands around Dion with Canadian backing.

It's not amazing that Harper won. Look at the leaders you had to choose from. A separatist, a nerd who couldn't speak english, or a frumpy, bitter, middle aged tree hugger who wasn't smart enough to run somewhere that she actually had a chance. Harper has said that if he is re-elected he will incarcerate fourteen year old youth as adults. But get this; he stated that in Quebec the age would be sixteen!!! Why should a youth in Quebec have more human rights than a youth in the other provinces? No logic in that whatsoever!!
