At my sons high school the health department is giving h1n1 vaccines tomorrow. You have to fill out your personal information to receive the vaccine for their records. I didn't fill it out, and I don't want him to take it. I believe he already had h1n1 flu at the beginning of September. Nevertheless, I'm sure we'll be forced eventually to take it. When they have seasonal flu clinics, like the drive thru ones, do they require personal info for health dpmt. records??

48 states have decent exemptions to avoid vaccinations. Two states only have a medical exemption.
The fact that vaccines are compulsary is a crying shame. The schools/doctors office/etc. typically WILL NOT tell you about Exemptions.
Legally they all should give a form stating that you KNOW about exemptions available and how to obtain them. They should tell them that vaccines dont test with true placebo when testing them. Another vaccine being compared to another is not a placebo.

They make children get vaccinations because they do not want other students catching it from the original infected student. The swine flu is actually the same level of danger as the seasonal flu. But the swine flu is just easier to spread. They can tell you to get a vaccination because not only are you putting your self at risk but you are endangering other people. At my sons high school the health department is giving h1n1 vaccines tomorrow. You have to fill out your personal information to receive the vaccine for their records. I didn't fill it out, and I don't want him to take it. I believe he already had h1n1 flu at the beginning of September. Nevertheless, I'm sure we'll be forced eventually to take it. When they have seasonal flu clinics, like the drive thru ones, do they require personal info for health dpmt. records??

He does not half to take it, if you truly want him not to get it simply be open and say "don't let them force you" and he'll take that more seriously than ever coming from a parent (trust me, I'm only 18 as well) but there not aloud to force him, only certain jobs and trades require the vaccine.
I never got the vaccine and I was sick about 2 or 3 months back, and I'm currently sick with the flue as we speak.

48 states have decent exemptions to avoid vaccinations. Two states only have a medical exemption.
The fact that vaccines are compulsary is a crying shame. The schools/doctors office/etc. typically WILL NOT tell you about Exemptions.
Legally they all should give a form stating that you KNOW about exemptions available and how to obtain them. They should tell them that vaccines dont test with true placebo when testing them. Another vaccine being compared to another is not a placebo.

The studies are amazing for Vit. D and what it can do for us. Unfortuantely you cant know if you are getting enough without a blood test and you cant really know how much to take. This is the latest and greatest. To get it from the sun you need 15 minutes of direct sunlight with 40% of your skin exposed between 11am and 1pm. Otherwise you need to take it orally.

mercury is a preservative which allows them to ship 10-shot vials instead of single shot vials. squalene shocks the immune system so they don't have to use as much active ingredient (the virus dna). all makes vaccines cheaper to produce and distribute, which is profit.

I am one who is very rarely ill. I research heavily everything that I put into my body and take only motrin on occasion. Thus, my immune system is prepared! Please tell me why, if our vaccines are so safe, did Japan stop having SIDS cases when they waited to start vaccinating until the age of 2 instead of 3 months? If you desire to get the vaccine, then go ahead. My family will not. NYS is mandating, but I refuse! The vaccination is not a guarantee therefore the risks outweigh the benefits!

I have never had flu like symptoms except when i received the influenza vaccine. Furthermore, the regulations on the amounts of mercury allowed in the H1N1 vaccine have been lifted. The CDC has proven to deem things safe until the adverse effects and deaths prove otherwise. Unfortunately, I have a great amount of experience with this on a personal and professional level! If you research deep enough, reports of adverse effects are voluntary!

ok, so you are fairly healthy... unfortunantly not everyone is as privileged as you. They are suggesting the children are at least 6 months old because they took into consideration that very young children may not be as ready as older people. What maybe somewhat harmful (which the vaccine isnt) to newborns , does not pose a threat to the recommended age.

as long as your psoriasis is not actively flaring and you get the attenuated or non-live version of the vaccine. There is no evidence that receiving an immunization of any kind can cause psoriasis. stated by the National Psoriasis Foundation

The argument was that not everyone will get H1N1 and it wont always be fatal correct? Arnt car accidents the same concept also? Not everyone gets into car accidents when they drive. AND not everyone dies from car accidents? WHY should i wear a seat belt?!?? The vaccine was deemed unharmful to the average population. If seat belts are necessary and useful. So are vaccinations

Comparing the vaccine to being safe as a seatbelt or like our immune system is ludicrous. I mean if the vaccine is so great, then why in the HELL do people die every year from the flu? I never get vaccinated and I've been healthy for years.

BECAUSE not every1 gets a flu shot and vaccines are will not guarentee 100% of prevention BUT will increase the chances of prevention by a lot. Since you said that people die form the flu each year have you ever considered that maybe you are just healthy or live in better conditions than many others?

My argument is that I do not have a choice and all ready my children are bringing home surveys for in school clinics. The current mandate in our state is to protect the children of which I care for respiratory and cardiac impaired children. The nasal is the form available in our area which ensures that these critical children will be without healthcare during the 21-28 days prior to the safe return to work with a child of such delicacy!

My doctor says it is rare and he doesn't want to be involved. The only exemptions allowed are those of an allergic reaction to eggs. I am only intolerant and should pull through before I am released back to work. Nobody dares go against the state not even the federal lawyers that I have tried.
