poor dumm ppl...philpinos dont came from aeta,or malay, aetas are primitive as of 1990s and never shared any culture before 1990s or even science...philkpinos dont came from malaysian either coz the same as culture difference,. some philpinos r from malay who speak the language these ppl came from malaysia n illegaly immigrated in philpines...philpinos have their own writing, cultures, an science that malay never had, their language r totally different
@11lookup there were no malaysians or filipinos before. please remember that the names indonesian, malaysian and filipinos were not our names for ourselves but names bestowed by our european colonizers. Im an ilonggo/karay.a. my ancestors were burnay (bruneian/bronean) exiles in the 12th century. burnay was a srivijayan province. that's why im also bisaya. the moro's are bisaya, the tagalogs are also bisaya. and there's a bisaya tribe in sabah and sarawak (please google or wikepedia it)..
This dates are not precisely accurate but it indicates that these artifacts appeared in China after the Ice age. That is why before China was unified around 200 b.c., it states in their history that it was once a land of many kingdoms ruled by foreigners. These foreigners could be descendants of the migrants from Sunda who are a mixture of Orang Asli & the native inhabitants. Creating a hybrid race and culture. The same thing with India but it would be austro asiatics who influenced them.
This is where the china Taiwan theory came from. According to some Austronesians came from China through Taiwan & Philippines & later colonize the remaining parts of Sundaland like Borneo Java & Sumatra. But what really happened is the other way around. Austronesians from Sundaland migrated to China when their homeland was flooded due to the rised of sea level. Austronesian artifacts like pottery and polish stone tools were found in Fujian China & were dated around 4 to 6 thousand yrs old.
A lot of people find this hard to believe because the early inhabitants of Sundaland were mostly Orang Asli. So they give credit to India & china as the influentials. They don't realize during the ice age china can hardly produce agricultural products due to its harsh climate condition. Because rice won't grow on ice it has to have its origins in the south and later on introduced there at the end of the ice age around 7 to 8 thousand yrs ago, probably by autronesian from the flooded Sunda.
Because its center was directly at the equator sundaland experience a warm climate, & with it's rich volcanic soil it was suitable for agriculture. Its abundant in metal deposits made it the birthplace of bronze. And because it's between two oceans the Pacific and Indian, long distance sea voyage was develop. And because they need the stars to navigate their way in the sea, astronomy was born. With all this new technology humans need to organize so it gave birth to complex society and kingship.
Nice, but we have to remember the term Indonesian & Malaysian did not exist during pre colonial. So if we want to know where filipinos came from & who they were, it's in the map of your video that's colored in light blue. This was Sundaland the cradle of civilization, during the ice age the rest of the world in the north was wrapped in gigantic ice sheets & sea level was several meters low. Humans develop agriculture, metallurgy, astronomy & complex society in this area called Sundaland.

Prehistoric evidence attest to the fact that many datus and rajahs (indigenous rulers) in the Philippines were of mixed Filipino and Chinese ancestry. They formed the group which is to be called Principalia during the Spanish period, and were given privileges by the Spanish colonial authorities.
But they are not to be confused for the later Sinitic-speaking peoples (ethnic Chinese) who came long after the land bridge submerged. These ethnic Chinese sailed down and frequently interacted with the indigenous tribes as evidenced by a collection of priceless Chinese artifacts found in the Philippines, dating back right up to the 10th century.
Presence of peoples from the Chinese mainland in the Philippines has been evident since during the Ice Age, when a land bridge enabled many people from southern China to settle in the Philippines. .
Current archaeological evidences subscribe to the "Mainland Theory" of Peter Bellwood, that the ancestors of the present-day Filipinos, as well as that of the Malays, Indonesians, and the Pacific Islanders first crossed the Taiwan Strait 4,000 years ago, during the Iron Age. These early voyagers are thought to be the Austronesians.
This is attested by the fact that in Taiwan and the Philippines, the peoples are subdivided into several small tribes, whereas in Malaysia and Indonesia, most peoples are homogenous or are divided into large tribes, indicating that Taiwan, then the Philippines, was the starting point for Austronesian migration, and that the present-day Malays and Indonesians, as well as the Pacific Islanders instead came from the Philippines, and not from Malaya or Sumatra
yea you're right about pacific islanders coming from the phillipines because ilocanos went to hawaii to plant sugarcane in the 1930s and 1950s or so but my question is how did they know how to navigate so easily without the aid western technology? Guamanians are clearly came from the Phillipines and probably samoans and then formed their own land. but my guess is simply just a guess. my best guess is that everyone came from malaysia.
Nice video. However, did you know that before the Spaniards came, the ancient Filipinos were already trading with other Asian nations? China referred to the Philippines as Ma'i. There are jars from Japan that have the strong evidence that it came from the Philippines. Mindoro, Cebu, and Manila (Maynilad) were already trading posts. Manila itself had Chinese establishments, which the Spaniards destroyed. Nice vid but add more infos.
