I agree with you. The book Stone of Tears was a great character builder for Richard. It was a bit hard to read having him separated from Kahlan, but it was still an amazing book. I don't know if that will ever get translated on the show. The powerful man Richard is in the books, isn't the same on the show. Although, I think they are trying to with each episodes we see. In the second one he grows and flourishes physically and intellectually in his abilities and understanding. I hope the show will be able to show this transformation over the episodes.

Yeah, I have been wondering about how and if they will introduce the Mud People. According to the first book, they should have been mentioned by now. The show is going directling to the Mord-Sith, which is after Richard and Kahlan have already been to the Mud People Village. Thanks for answering.
What's really funny, I don't know if you've read the book, but this song fits REALLY well with some of the events that happen later, so if they translate that into the show, you should have some good source material. :)

the books were soooo amazing, you can say the show doesnt do it justice, but you cant really compare
it's like comparing a movie (texas chain saw) being based on a true story
I enjoy the actors/actresses they cast as well, and they can go so many ways with the show
