I've come back and listened to this several times now, it's really great. I really don't think it's a case of losing any of the harmonies, they just need panning around a bit so that they can all breath. Stick a bit of reverb on there, and you really could use this as an acapella intro to something.
Srry ollecarlsson, I didn't mean to offend you or anything. I'm just pretty sure it's in D... Oh, and maybe you should stop commenting negatively to a lot of people's comments. We all know you're capable of being nice, or probably have something else to do. So just shut up and stop insulting people.
Sure It might thicken a vocal track...but you need to have ALL the parts in tune first! And really what you're doing is a FOUR-part harmony with the parts doubled.

Dude you rocked it, paulsint and others are just miserable people who have nothing better to do.. also it wasn't a stupid idea, that might have been what you were looking for ;) but keep up the good work :)
brilliant! who cares if it enhanced or not. Let's face it there is not enough creative stuff out there at the moment so this is beautiful stuff. Is there a complete song?
i'm sorry but you come on here saying how easy it is and then someone steps to you telling you to back up your claim..then you back down??? i'm sorry but that unfortunately says to us that you can't...even though i do get the feeling you can. if you can..then show us.
Wow, you really are a douche. You know what? Please, record yourself singing and post it. There are not very many people that can sing extremely well, and the shitty ones take years to get good. Trust me, I know.
hmm, sounds like you did a lot of digital processing here. Either autotune or a harmonizer. I record vocals all the time and I know what that sound means. PROCESSED. Cool work though, just don't pretend.
I think you're being modest to safeguard your feelings from criticism. This is certainly no waste of time. Someone with the sense to create such a lusciously effective 8 part harmony would surely be aware of that. That or you have a self-esteem issue.
i don't use any tools except for the cubase sx arrangement window, so i can listen back to each vocal part as i record it, the video footage is only taken from the lead vocal part. i think recording video footage for all 8 parts would have been realy boring,
Wow, brilliant harmonies. When is my lil pringle gonna come and sing me a lullaby?! You are wasted on mytube. You are so gifted. Go conquer the world mr johnstone!! But dont forget me! xx
beautiful! can you do advert jingles? i really like the auto glass repair, auto glass replace one. could you do that? cheers

I don't know about 8-parts. I guess the question would be...why 8-parts? However, it was a nice harmony! Rock on.
theblobber 4 years ago
why 8 parts? do u know how good that sounds not to mention the way it thickens a song up!!
cheath432 4 years ago
Sure It might thicken a vocal track...but you need to have ALL the parts in tune first! And really what you're doing is a FOUR-part harmony with the parts doubled.
So... I'll say it again: Eight parts? WHY??????

well first its called 8 parts because he is using 8 tracks to record the harmony. yea ur right, it is 4 parts doubled but there are still 8 voices!
