Technically brilliant. Sounded great from the get-go; I was expecting the singing to be a big let down, but it was just as awesome as the drumming and guitarwork. The only thing I think you need to work on is your image/theatrics/stage presence, if you want to make it big.

Notice they are only a few Tool cover vids...that's because it's pretty damn hard to play. As a guitarist for a band that plays three Tool covers, It's tough as hell and we are not going to tackle Vicarious any time soon. We're all really into music, so we had a great time learning this, it was a particular challenge though because up until 2 weeks before this video, I had never listened to tool. These days I would pay much more respects to his drum part...people on here need to realize, we were a bunch of kids about to graduate from high school and playing this cover note for note wasn't on our front burner at the time.

Man, people sure are giving the kid on vocals an undeserved hard time. Its not always a cover band's job to sound exactly like the original. If you wanna hear an exact copy, stick to your CDs and mp3s. Besides I have never heard a cover singer sound even close to Maynard but who cares. Personally I respect what he brought to the table. It was still pretty bold and that's not easy to pull off.

I'm not going to put down anybody because it sucks to have people just criticize you without offering any suggestions, which for me would be to pick a different band to cover for your vocalist. Most of Tool's songs have a subtlety to them which is very difficult to match, and even though you're hitting the notes, you're style is still too aggressive for these songs.
