  • I sometimes wonder how the legends of the past would do against current greats

  • @1975siralex I think in almost every sport, today's athletes are better than those from the past, boxing being the exception, e.g. I still think Hearns in his prime would take out anyone today at 154, Pryor would stop anyone at 140, and I've still yet to see a heavyweight with the footwork, handspeed, or chin that Ali had.

  • @berkeleylawyer I totally agree with u because legends of the past were much tougher compared to nowadays i mean guys like Duran , Hagler, hearns, how many guys today can last in the ring with these beasts...

  • I don't even know how this only has 31, 000 views but it is everything I think about when I think boxing. Everytime I thought what about so and so, don't tell me he forgot so and so, the next slide was so and so. Good job great video. It's refreshing to see a man that knows his boxing.

  • roy jones wasnt a fighter he was just a gifted athlete.

  • Inspiring music, good job. Goes great with the fighters.

  • Nice vid!

and from this part of the world, the Phlippines, much respect to all boxers with the heart of a warrior around the world.

  • I'ma break the trend here - it's rare that you can get a downtempo song that works for boxing. But I thought it fit the video perfect.

And a damn fine selection of fighters.

  • What are yoy talking about? It isn't rare, I don't know what the hell you've been listening to but theres alot of "downtempo" music for lots of FIGHTING scenes.

  • Because what this video is doing is slideshowing like a museum. Showing the GREAT fighter of the past and present.

  • You sound like an obnoxious childish bitch.

I saw your fag comments on one of mythz videos, he's right - your not very articulate, keep trying... you'll get better.

  • .. You're stupid.

  • o yeah what does real fighing involve then?

  • de la hoya doesnt suck but i cant say mosley sucks and they both gave me my moneys worth that first fight

  • Great Video, Nice Music! My respects to all boxers in the world! I just would take out whitaker and mayweahter of the video , I beleive they are not in the same class as the rest! Not warriors! That Pic. of Hagler, Leonard, Hearns and Emmanuel Stewart is Fantastic! Congrats. on who made it.

  • Thanks for the comment! However I have to disagree with your assertion that Whitaker and Mayweather were not warriors. Both were elusive and difficult to hit, but neither were runners. To the contrary they stood toe to toe with much bigger men, and gave as good as they took.

  • I respect your opinion, it's just on how we apreciate styles, I personally don´t like defensive boxers, I don´t take nothing on their skills, But as a Mexican I am, we see boxing as a demostration of Courage, Strengh, Kill or Die, that´s why for Mexicans Box is something more than just a sport, we see it as an Expresion of Bravery and Honor (No hugging), you will never see a Mex.defensive boxer probably, because In Mexico we would never support him. Once Agian, Grangratulations on This Video!

  • Berkeleylawyer, I would have loved to see Salvador Sanchez also in the video, any reason for him not to be?

  • No reason - Sanchez was a great fighter.

  • I trade you Sanchez for Whitaker in the Video! jajaja! Just Kidding! Once Again Great Video, one of the best I´ve seen in youtube! If not the BEST! My Best regards for you from Monterrey, Mexico.

  • F@kn hard sport.. full respect
