My Incredible isn't finding a zip to choose from. When I DL the file from the forum, it's a folder with "META-INF" or "system"..... neither of which does anything when drilled in and selected....

@EraqEE where does it tell you the image can't be found in the recovery or hboot?

And s-on/ s-off doesn't matter here I did this on my 3g slide which is s-on.

Also what phone are you using and what is your custom recovery?

Hmm... let me assure you. You didn't brick your phone if was bricked it wouldn't turn on at all. What it sounds like is that you the wrong package. There was two at the site you wanted to download the one that ended with a e/f.

@altorres89 im not too sure but i think for this to work on the droid x ,2, 2 global you will need the bootstrap you can find it on the market just search for bootstrap and you should find that i think will load you into recovery where you need to go then just follow my vid and thats it

@mrsanche go to the market and download this app rom manager and try flashing the clockwork recovery from there. it should give you the option to when you open the app it will say

Flash ClockworkMod Recovery

see if that works then try rebooting back into your recovery

when i select option recovery screen goes to "HTC INCREDIBLE" then goes to black screen never shows green text or anything just blank screen. sorry im a real newby. any help?

and try going back to your recovery and when you see the black screen shows up press the power button

@chefalj1 yea this should work for that the superuser file that i download is for any android phone running on eclair 2.1 and froyo 2.2 so yes this should work for you.
