hello :) I wanted to ask how you lubed it, and with what, because I've used vaseline for all my cubes so far but it kinda nears its freezing point under room temperatures, and goes stiff-ish, plus I have to keep adding vaseline once in a while. So what's your alternative?

When I solve my cube, it works until I get to the last part which is orienting the corners on the last layer. The whole cube gets all botched up but it works on my other rubik's cubes. Do you know what's happening?

I used cross, (a beginner's version of) F2L, and then a mix between beginners LL and 4-Look LL.

No I had the same problem and with practice got past it.

Once you know 2-Look and F2L FOCUS on Cross and F2L. Get that down then do full fridrich. I didn't and My Last layer was sub 3 but my cross was 5 sec and f2l was 15

@bmw330134 i would recommend the zanchi if u have like 30 sec averages or less, its the world record cube, u cant go by his review very much tho cuz hes a beginner who cant control the speed of the cube, but def the best cube out there, if u have around a min averages i recommend the cube4you house brand or whatever, great cube, work ur way up, its better that way

@theMarpies The Zhanchis come not turning too well, but they respond to lube absolutely amazingly.

I used silicone spray, and it seemed like a completely different cube.

@speedcubes17 - Oooo, you should NEVER use spray on a Dayan. You really need Maru lube or Lubix to get the FULL potential of these cubes. If you tried it, you'd see what I mean. Spray makes this sticky feeling in them. You won't notice it though, until you clean it out and switch lubes. In my original Gu Hong review, I used spray and thought it was great, but I was wrong.

I've improved my F2L a little since this video, and I'm working on learning all the 2 Look LL algorithms (for now).

By the way, don't take that comment as me trying to be mean, I'm just trying to help and make things a lot easier for you. Using a Dayan at your level, the Dayan does all the work for you, so you become a lazy cuber. If you were to ever try and solve a normal cube, your times would suck. That's why you use a normal cube until you get faster, then switch.

Dude, seriously with your style (very beginner ish) you don't need a Zhan Chi yet. You should have gotten a more normal cube like a type C and work on your fingertricks. Dayans are more for people who are sub 20. You won't build any skill with a dayan. Stick with your Rubiks.

@zharifazwar - Yeah, you should be ready for a good cube. Just make sure to turn slow to look ahead. Around 30 sec is where you really NEED to start looking ahead to get faster. Although, I really recommend the Gu Hong over the Zhan Chi. I really hate my Zhan Chi right now.
