  • This is Brucknerchor. Maximillion (not sure of spelling) is one of the boys in this choir and he belongs or belonged to Brucknerchor. A friend of mine has seen this choir live in concert and he confirmed it is indeed Brucknerchor.

  • @hkybballcoach Thank you for your comment. You're right, I did not catch it until you pointed that out. Thanks for letting me know, I will correct it.

  • Lovely! Yes but too short. I have a question. I notice that sometimes a WSK choir is desinated as Brucknerchor. Are there various choirs named after various composers? I love WSK but Bruckner is not one of my favourites. Is there a WSK Mozartchor?

  • Yes, the WSK has 4 choirs and they all name after the composers. Haydnchor, Mozartchor, Schubertchor and Brucknerchor. They are all equally train in Vienna and travel around the world. They maintain one choir in Vienna for study and rotate each year so every choir has an option.

  • @MelvinEU Who among these composers were former members of the WSK?

  • @ifuliki FYI. this choir is Haydn. For the past few years, Haydn and Schubert choirs are my favor. Keep in mind there are new members each year. Member of the WSk are 10 to 14. The choirs performances also rely on the conductor; I am sure you already knew it without me spelling out.

    Thanks for your inputs.

  • @MelvinEU Greetings and Thank you. Yes. When I said Bruckner was not one of my favourites (English/Canadian spelling not American) I was of course referring to the composer and not to the choir. Thank you for that information. I had guessed that but needed confirmation. There is so much wonderful German music that English boys cannot sing due to the language difficulty. German and Austrian boys do well often with English I have noticed.

  • Beautiful but very short... Thanks...

  • @Eragel1 Thank you very much for your nice comment. I am not sure why it is so short either.

  • Thanks for that little live moment.

  • Now it is the time for J.S. Bach. Thank you.

  • Thanks a lot Surrexit1. I don't even know the name of this one exactly. I gave the Program Booklet to the ladies next to me.

  • It's a familiar chorale melody used in many of Bach's works.

  • Hi Melvin, did you ask somebody for the title of that song ?

  • With Bach always precious moments. Again thank you.

  • Just wonderful to see the WSK again,

    thank you very much.

  • Magnificent performance of the WSK! Thanks MelvinEU
