@TheGizmofromPizmo It's naturally occurring, and I've never seen a munchkin cat who didn't look like they were the happiest little things on earth. The only reason she's having trouble walking is because it's 3 weeks old. You don't feel bad for welsh corgis or wiener dogs, do you? They were bread like these munchkins back in the day to form a new breed. And cats are safer to breed in this way because they don't get the spinal deformities like dogs can be affected with.
@SamanthaGirllll I doubt it's naturally occurring. Cats and dogs have been bred by humans for centuries for particular traits. Although some of these traits are useful and even beneficial, some of them are introduced because they're considered cute or fashionable.
@TheGizmofromPizmo It actually is, it's a natural genetic mutation which is why they don't have any of the illnesses or injuries that come form such short legs. Sausage dogs were bred like that deliberately and so have back problems and bad joints in their legs. But because the munchkin development was naturally occurring, they don't have the same negative side effects.
FUZZY!!!! @angeld76 haha, Munchkins have no problem with their legs, they just stumble xD It doesnt stop them from running and jumping like normal, she's probably just very tired

I always feel a little sad when I see these guys. They've been given a deformity because it's considered 'cute'.
