You could build your own solar panels quite cheap for under 145.00 a piece(that's not really cheap though is it?) But make sure you make it energy-efficient! Under the Waxman-Markey bill, they could deem your household as an 'unlawful occupational sight'...then you'll be haul off to a FEMA camp if you don't have a relative's house to go to. Or just as bad, you'll be fined! Even though your electricity bill is also going to show an increase of almost 100%. These thing ARE coming soon.
