@michaellux13 There is a difference between building two reactors and upgradinge one so you have space to build an advance supply pad and then build three to four reactors and not having enough supplies for anything. Next time you try to insult someone, play the game first

Just build a ton of Scorpions, research the Canister Shell ability and concentrate all fire on one node at a time. I got stuck on this level, until I started doing that.

The hornets die very fast, so do the marines. Only the scorpions last long enough...there's just no time to waste on building/upgrading other stuff anyway, too.

cause the flood launchers do massive damage to hornets. and if you built a vulture the flood swarms would just take it out cause the vulture is way to slow. tanks and hogs are best bet.

This strategy fails on legendary mode, Alpha team bites the dust at around 13 mins if you ignore them, the other problem is it focus' mostly on scorpions which take too much time to build. by the way, does anyone else wonder what happened in the missing 5mins at 2:40 ?

surfingiscolithink is almost correct. first of all you might want to build 2 reactors instead of one and get the secondary reactor too. but he shouldnt build warthogs. i agree with building wolverine and scorpions but warthogs wont do. what you need are cobra. they can take down the spitting green gas defence towers the flood have very fast and you need level 4 tech level to upgrade the vehicles fully so you can do maximum damage. the cobra are building killers in lockdown mode

They are unique to Anders, but in the campaign, you have access to all the unique units and all powers; in different missions. After all, you're playing as them all.

Do this: (1) Upgrade base to fortress. (2) Build 3 supply pads. (3) Garrison marines in reactor next to pylon. (4) Build 1 reactor. (5) Upgrade supply pads. (6) Build 2 vehicle depots and 1 field armory. (A barracks & air depot are useless; marines & hornets suck for this level.) (7) Focus on creating scorpions, warthogs and wolverines. Upgrade them. (8) Field Armory: Upgrade for faster training. Units need to train FAST. (9) Just keep creating these 3 essential types of units, and attack.

Hornets are relatively weak and useless for this level. Those birds will shred them to pieces. Doesn't work for this level, unless you have wolverines backing you. Why waste time with an air pad?

I think it would be better to just upgrade the reactors because you spend less supplies and have more room for other buildings. even though an upgrade reactor is 1200 supplies you end up saving supplies in the long run
