I grew up in tokyo as a child, and I sadly haven't returned since. This video brought back so many memories... especially from a child's perspective with the lights, movement, and palpable setting you were able to capture in this.

Shot in three hours wow!

I thought you were going to take a 3rd person perspective based on the title, but the fact that it is looming from the 1st person's perspective of multiple parties (sort of representing multiple social groups) gave a more diverse eye on Tokyo.

Ultimately made me more envious that I have not been their yet :(

I used a Panasonic AGDVX-100B with built-in Leica lens. This camera has the 24P setting which kind of imitates film so you got that cine-look. Next I would like to upgrade to High-Def but can't afford it yet.

nope, it was all pre-arranged, the first girl coming out of the builiding is my gf, the 2 girls in shibuya and the bf were random people we met and they agreed for me to shoot them walking around, the street dancer was random, the last girl walking around harajuku is a good friend of mine.
