@crazyskier540 how does the corvette make the viper look slow? Viper has a faster 1/4 mile time (10:9 vs 11:2). The viper also has faster lap at Mazda Raceway and Nurburgring. I'm not going to say that the Viper makes the Corvette look slow because they are both super fast.... but the Viper is faster.

New fastest lap time for the ZR-1 around Nurburgring is 7:19.63 this makes it only slower than the Porsche 911 GT2 RS and the Grumpert Apollo ( dis-regarding the Donkervoort and the Radical ) this run made it faster ( around nurburgring ) than the Enzo, Zonda F, MC12, GT-R, LFA, and the ACR. Cutting the overall lap time by 7 seconds, the Z06 also ran a new record of 7.22.68 making it .58 slower than a ACR.
@TheLaracingteam srt-10 has 600hp and 570ft.lb ZR1 has 638hp and 604ft.lb learn facts kiddo. Now its proven that the Viper ACR cant even beat a Z06 and the Z06 is still cheaper. I know somebody is going to say that the Z06 has been using racing slicks well the ACR has been using tires extremely similar to the 1s the 2012 corvette use since 2008. In terms of looks I still think the Viper looks like a clown shoe and it sounds like the worlds most powerful blender just stating my opinion.

well the zr1 is a very powerful car the viper has more power compared to the zr1. Yet both are extremaly fast cars, I will say that the zr1 because the corvette has been around longer.
The Viper is a near copy to the body style of the Corvette. But the Vette had that style back in the late 80's early 90's, so Dodge completely stole it from GM, plus the inside of the Viper looks like crap.

Fact: the corvette can smoke the dodge viper, 0-60 in 3.6 seconds with johnny O'Connell. Also 78 mph going through the salem where as the dodge viper can't compare with only 0-60 in 4.2 seconds and 69 mph through the salems. The corvette is so powerful that Chevy actually had to take out horse power to race in the European circuit. where as the dodge viper did not make it passed the qualifiers. The states don't lie the corvette is the beast.

the numbers speak for them selves. the viper acr holds the fastest time on nurburgring than the corvette's previous run. but if i was a muli millionare and i had the choice of buying one of these 2 cars it would be the corvette. and this is coming from a ford loving guy so thats saying something for the gorgeous zr1

okay lets get real yeah the vette is fast... but if you go get the fastest viper which is the venom 1000 im pretty sure it would eat the vette alive and the vette looks to nice and it is tamed. The viper looks sick and mean and its a beast to drive... i know this becuase i work for a lambo dealership and i drive cars like these all the time. Overall the viper wins in my opion.

The ZR1 with a time of 7:19.63 and the Z06 with a time of 7:22.68 were both done on NON-LEGAL RACING SLICKS!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA........ While the ACR with a time of 7:22.1 was done with stock tires. Read down a lil bit on the list to find the TRUE times for the ZR1 and Z06 on there stock tires.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Explain to me why you're showing pics of the Corvette ZR1, Viper SRT-10, and the Viper SRT-10 ACR. This vid should be called "Vette vs Viper vs Viper". Btw, I say the Viper is better. In my opinion, it's better looking. Also, it's faster around a track. Nurburgring times: Viper SRT-10 ACR - 7:22 Corvette ZR1 - 7:26

lol a supercharger does the same thing a turbo does, force air into the engine in simple terms
so theres "Boost" and it would be wise to have a boost gauge just to make sure everything is running right and no leaks from the SC, or vac leaks anywhere, etc..

well then i stand corrected on the tires. thank you. and i never said that the viper was faster. i fully accept that the vette beat it. but given the right conditions and the right track i'm sure the viper is faster. but i do congratulate the vette on beating the ACR because the ACR really is a track beast. i'm sure when the new viper comes out in 2013 we will have a better race on our hands ;)

well the zr1 is a very powerful car the viper has more power compared to the zr1. Yet both are extremaly fast cars, I will say that the zr1 because the corvette has been around longer.

The Viper is a near copy to the body style of the Corvette. But the Vette had that style back in the late 80's early 90's, so Dodge completely stole it from GM, plus the inside of the Viper looks like crap.

Chevy needs to use another type of material other than PLASTIC. for more than $100,000 i want my car not have a car that has plastic at the back that when applied force on, the plastic gets pushed in. Makes the car feel cheap.

This was done to keep the cost down. If you're that pissed about it then add a carbon fiber rear fascia to your ZR1...........oh that's right you don't have one.
