OMG! I was at the JELL-O Museum/Gallery with a friend, and I saw this commercial. THEY EVEN HAVE THE COSTUME BILL COSBY WORE in that ad!

Unilever's Popsicle brand carried Jello pudding pops with license of Kraftfoods,the parent company of Jell-O. Those pops were narrow unlike Jell-O's original ones. They came in an assortment of vanilla,chocolate and vanilla/chocolate swirl. Either they've been discontinued or just not available in all areas.

They did...kind of. Popsicle makes them now, they're similar to the originals, but not quite as good.

I've never cared much for ice cream or popsicles but I loved these. The kind they have out now taste nothing like original. I've even tried freezing pudding but that doesn't taste like them either. I remember they had this icy shell. It wasn't a coating, though. Underneath the shell the popsicle was so creamy and good. Oh, I miss them.

This commercial has to be circa 1982,the earliest. I remember that was when I first saw them and a TV commercial(a different one). The commercial I was talking about featured comedian Bill Cosby peddling the pops in a franchise wagon flanked by many treat-craving kids.
