love how people say summt and long drive sound the same, summit is dubstep, long drive is complextro, long drive has a 6 min build up before the it kicks in, so how are they the same? ruffneck and kyoto sound slightly similar, thats all, the bass in kyoto is higher pitched and has a faster tempo, ruffneck has classic instruments playing in the build up to the bass and kyoto has acctually singin and rapping whereas ruffneck has one man repeating the same phrase, they dont sound the same

Don't get into a Skrillex argument. You will not win when you have hipsters vs bassfacees. Skrillex, like most other dubstep atist, just hits a buton on a mac and makes it go *wub*. Whilst it still takes a lot of skill, in most non-pop genres, to make music dubstp in any form is a loop which is looped ith drops. All dubstep is its own thing, there are big variations and people like what they do.

i would enjoy more of this skrillex. he HAD his own style, then it sort of vanished into this sound now. a signature sound is not a signature style however. you can apply that style to sounds in a song, but you cannot apply that sound into very many different styles. He's rather pigeonholed himself with it, to be honest, because its making him money.
