Does anyone know the purpose of that black filter in front of the microphone? It can't be a spit filter. I know it's been used for decades by musicians, I've been curious as to what it's purpose is.

@EWLGtoday I cant remember what you call them but if you took any of the fabric in the top of a bog standard dynamic microphone you'd find all the words begging with B or P for that matter would sound horrible (usually with standard mics), the ones you get in shops, tend to do this (usually their quality is awful).

But helps the real word come out rather than hearing a like (sounds like a) bfff kinda sound then the rest of the word.

@EWLGtoday Its called sorry a mic condenser, condenses the airwaves coming out of the mouth so when you use words beginning with P so it doesnt attack so much at the diaphram of the mic (like the reverse of a speaker system).

Is what their called basically and why they use them, thats a studio one though, which are allot better than the ones you find in conventional live mic's.

@tezeu21 The acoustic version of her songs are better than the "electro/pop/dance" version. She has a real beautiful voice, and personnaly, I think it's a waste that she uses it for pop/dance.

too fast? acoustic just means it's not electronic. an acoustic song can be just as up tempo as a dance song. it would still be acoustic :) i see what you mean though - u want the song to be more of a ballad...
