grew up in the same town as Michael..even worked in the same record store (Music Staff), tho not at the same time. Met him once when he visited the store after the release of Lane Changer. Had a mad crush on his sister who worked at the stationary store two doors down... Lane Changer was a great album. Strange Bedfellows suffered a bit...largely from an initial bad album pressing by Mercury.
I saw this show, too...with my dad :( (hey, I was 13!); he made us go home before Aerosmith came on-as I'm sure Yukonmoose could attest, the wait between acts was interminable! Michael F. was great, though (Kiss was sloppy fun, and much less obnoxious than they got to be later...)
Really great jam by MF. A fine guitar player to go w/ that absurdly fragile voice.

I seen Michael Fennelly in 1974 along with Kiss and Aerosmith. It was the first time they all played in Detroit. Great concert!

Lane Changer is one of my best albums on vinyl and I've been searching it on CD for many years.
