Very nice organ, 'Pigalle' is a 121 Key Decap built in 1947 by Gebroeders Decap (meaning the brothers Decap) of Antwerp, Belgium. This incorporates some Mortier pipework. The family run business still exists today building and restoring these fantastic mechanical organs!
Love this sound. Once along the Jersey boardwalks, salt water taffy and this and the Giz Perlee organ sounds were enough to entice folks to walk. Then the organs dissappeared, replaced by CD vendors. Then came Springstein and the golden days were over.
Sound unbelievable good. The best mechanical organ i have listen too so far.
