@jeepwranglerrr no, i'm just saying this soloing is great. I'm sure someday he will beat continuum. battle studies was great. I mean I am one of his biggest fans. but I'm sure his next album will be better than continuum.
John Mayer is my favorite artist. This vid was taken probably 3 years ago. I have to admit that his vocals have become a lot better since the time of this video. He has a lot more control now. I love this performance though.
This is probably John's BEST electric POP - Now if we could get him to do the BLUES the way he hints at in concert on a disc - - THAT WOULD BE HIS BEST !!!

that's either the SRV or his signature.. i'm not too sure about his guitar. but you're probly right on it being the SRV .
