@RainbowColorWaffles ...If you mean the older Photoshop version 5.0 then no, it doesn't have these options. If you mean CS5 (the latest version) then Yes, I checked and all these features are still there under Layer FX. I've used Photoshop version 5.0 for years and while it doesn't have these Layer FX, you could use the filters to do it (possibly).
I will say the video compressed a bit, and it does lose some of the natural gradations I'm seeing. I'll try to post a final image in the future or add a link.
Thanks for your response, to clarify: its a Water Bubble, (or Water Drop if you prefer) like you see on glass or some surface but could also be a free floating bubble (with some modifications). I looked at a bunch of photos on flickr as reference and feel this graphic is a nice approximation of a bubble/drop. Depending on the light, I have seen bubbles with soft highlights, it just depends on the light source - light and water can create an infinite variety of effects.
Doesn't look like a water drop. Water drops don't have a soft highlight, because they have a very reflective surface. You only see soft highlights with surfaces that aren't very smooth. The use of the bevel tool effect is also not recommended, since it doesn't work well for anything but edges. You can notice that in your final result; the center of the water drop looks too flat.
Uhm... I have Adobe Photoshop 5.0. Does the same method apply for that one or is it different?

Your welcome. That was just a start to my ventures into Photoshop Tutorials. I'm working on some new ones with more depth coming soon.
