Akuma is Ryu's father, if you pay very close attention to the movie Street Fighter Generations it all makes sense. When the girl is running with Gouken (Ryu's Teacher) and the girl trips and falls and then she throws up Gouken was just about to say, "U can't be pregnent R U," but then it cuts to the scene where Gouke (Akuma) makes a huge explosion. At the end of the movie the old man says Gouken gave him a child and told him not to let him end up like his father. (Watch the movie)

That's only true in story line. Akuma is and was meant to be a cheap character. That's why he's hidden and banned in most tourneys. Ken is one of the strongest and perfectly balanced characters of SF.
