I'm not familiar with this song. Because of this, the lesson moved a bit slow. It's almost like learning an entire song versus a cool (Vinnie) riff. Would have been potentially better if you would have referenced or included a video of the original tune so we knew what we were working on. Just a suggestion.
@itsadryheat Using the original recording in this video would have caused potential legal issues (copyright, etc). I'm sure there are hundreds of uploads of the song already on YouTube though, so you can easily go check it out yourself.
You're doing it wrong. Covering Travis Barker is mainly about looking at your crotch, then looking up, then at your crotch, etc.... it's his version of a backbeat. Also, you need a mohawk and some tattoos... then it will be an authentic cover.
