Kissing dogs noses is definitely one of the best things in life! The bit at the end about never forgetting where home is reminded me of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz - you can go all around the world (as I have done in search of dreams) but home really is where the heart is (corny but true) and I, like you, am so appreciative to be back in my little corner of the world again.
