  • Finnish Stug III в какие цвета окрашивались?

  • it is indeed quite fast accelerating. But maybe it is a little lighter now? With like less/no ammo and no reserve equipment.

  • Over 60 years later, and it's still a fairly fast tracked vehicle. So that's where the idea for the S-tank came from...

  • GO STUG!!!!!!!

  • Tämä pätkä on Suomen Sotilas lehdelle tehdystä kuvauskeikasta. Tässä vaiheessa sturmia ajettiin takaisin pajalle.

Ai, mistäkö tiedän? Olin itse paikalla...

  • Excactly, plus German tanks didn't even use the swastika!

  • just like to say if u rotate the swastika 45 degrees it becomes the Hindu sign of good luck so yea, justa puttin tht out there

  • No surprise another ignorant kid has no Idea what he is talking about when it comes to history or WWII. Maybe if you decided to read a book once in a while moOSwe you would actually learn something to give you some more credibility before spouting off a lot of ignorant crap. The Finnish armed forces, as several individuals have said, had been using the Hakariisti Swastika long before Hitler came to power and adopted the symbol.

  • Just found the statistics of Battle of Karelian Isthmus 1944: StugIII's destroyed 87 russian tanks. Finnish Stug battalion lost 8 tanks, 4 of them destroyed after technical problems. So combat killing rate was pretty good for finns: 1:21.

  • Lol manual gearbox? o.O

I want run 1/4 mile right now =) on Stug

  • Great army!

Level of the early 20 th century, the strongest army!

Police of St. Petersburg can destroy it, and all Scandinavia!

  • @Patriot1of1Russia thats odd.. we was in ww2 like in 10th century and still kicked ya ruskies asses.. And fasism is from germany.. so u cant be so patriot commie boi

  • @sumosami What do you mean?

During World War II, were all teaching in the Soviet army (!).

Everything, absolutely, even German and Finnish troops, it gave you the incentive to hold out for a couple of weeks in your "snow-covered jungle. "

And further, we will still destroy you.

Now, in reality, riot police and special forces units of St. Petersburg, effortlessly crush your blunt NATO army.

  • @Patriot1of1Russia

Russian army destroys itself with education that makes animals out of humans. I don't know an army which treats its recruits as brutal as Russian army does. And the steamhammer method doesn't work always and everywhere. It might distribute terror but a well quallified army consisting of specialists doesn't need brutality in training.

  • @GilbMLRS Our army is the best in the world who will be aggressive to us, that the Russian army fuck)

  • @Patriot1of1Russia

Aha....and...why didn't your army defeat Afghanistan or....Chechnya? As the best in the world?

  • @GilbMLRS Defeat? In Afghanistan, we have killed many Americans, destroyed country, and a million Afghans in 10 years lost 10 thousand people, so do not have a successful operation today. Look at NATO, where they are not climbs for their base, and then lose more, and there we were active hostilities, in general, our bases are still standing there.

  • @GilbMLRS

I can still give you an example, during the war in Georgia, we Americans again were killed, was a case where our advanced troops were ordered to seize 3 U.S. base, well, they understood that they are cannon fodder and hardly able to survive, but when they got all the bases were empty: )

Stories are not unfounded, I've heard from friends who serve in the army.

  • @sumosami Fascism is from Italy, not Germany.

  • @Aqnde who cares?

  • locally city near me had an old brick building collapsed due to earthquake damage a week before... and lo and behold a beautifully persevered Wash Soap ad...

nice one in beautiful color....with nice huge swatikas....figure this was painted some

time between 1910 and 1925.....oh the dilemma.....its historical screams one side,

its a symbol of racism screams another...compromise was to build a brick wall and cover it up from roadside viewing..

  • Look at that massive torque when he shifts through the gears

  • nice stug

  • I thought the finnish Stugs were up-armored with logs and concrete

  • ★★★★★

  • And we finns had this swastica first!

Good tank destroyer really - once read that german infantry at eastern front was only hopefull when stugs were with them?

  • Not really, the Russians fell likewise many without stugs like when they had it with them.

Russia has never been good at warfare, teach yourself that and if Russia ever attacks Finland and Sweden, they wont break through beacuse hopefully this time Sweden will send troops to Finland with another goverment :)

And Russia is to bad at warfare overall they push right on the front and die.

  • @Morran09 thats the russian battle tactik, overrun the enemy, semmd t work in ww2

  • @SuperMachinegunner Yeah but at a cost of 11 million soldiers lifes. I do not believe that they wanna go throw that again.

The Germans didn't lose more than 4 million soldiers in the whole war.

  • @Morran09 actually germany lost more then that, germany and russia had the most losses in ww2, if germany wouldve only lost 4 mil then they coudlve went on fighting since the germany army was about 17 million strong,so after 4 mil losses they wouldve still had 13 million. im pretty sure that germany had higher losses then just 4 mil, gotta check up to be sure

  • @SuperMachinegunner I meant in death numbres, Germany lost many in wounded, missing and surrendered soldiers.

  • @Morran09 oh ok, i thought you meant that germany only lost 4 mil all togheter

  • @SuperMachinegunner Yeah, but the Russians lost 11 Millions in dead only.

  • @Morran09 yeah but russia had the numbers to do overrun tactics

  • @Morran09 russians lost 27 million people... something like 12 million were killed in action rest were killed by russians themselves or died because of somehing else.

  • german engineering rules

  • What a nice tank, with finnish swastica and everything...

  • Its an assault gun not a tank since it didnt have a moving turret.

  • StuG power! Go StuG!

    5 *****

  • Nice, I hear their is a lot of german armor left in norway and finland now whats for sale???

  • they are all saled, they was have many StuGs and Hetzer, same with Swizz army, selling her last Hetzer Anti tanks 1999 in a big public auction. The legends are saying there some Pz4 in israel and Indian Units in service still this time. Poland and Slovakia have many SdKfz 151 (new build and new engine) in service

  • i know that your comment is very old but most of these stugs were infact auctioned off. and sold for about 20 000 euros each. IIR.

  • These STUG's what are in driving condition were not sold. They did sold one badly damaged hulk with €150.000.

  • why is there like no short barreled stugs

  • those were only made in the early stages of the war but they infantry didnt need that type of support so they later upgraded them it a higher velocity anti-tank gun because the main problem was Russian tanks not russian infantry dug-in to defensive postions that requiered the shorter barreled high-explosive howetzer.

  • Sir,i think we have a stug on loose..... :)

  • Go Go STUG! :D 5*

  • STUG ! Ale dajesz ! Aż Ci dym leci :D :D :D

  • hahah, kiedys Ci wytłumacze dlaczego noszę taka ksywe :)

  • nice one 5 *****

  • I always thought that the Hakaristi is not the same as a swastika. The Nazi symbol is the same design, but reversed. There is a great deal that I can't discuss here, but behind the war and Hitlers objectives was something based in spirituality and the occult. It goes way beyond what we have been told via propaganda. Search around on the web.

  • swastika, is a sanskrit word, basically means good fortune, is thousands of years old and is found in cultures all over the globe, it is a sun symbol, the arms suggesting the sun moving throught the sky. it's a pity it now has such negative connotations

  • wanhalla kunnon lekelläkös siellä ajellaan? Onneksi on TJ-0 niin ei tarvi sielläkään pellossa enää ikinä sinkoilla :D

  • Swastika is also used at least in one finnish collage. When german students visited that school they were shocked, because they don't remember that swastika is very old european badge.

  • Finland still have the Hakaristi swastika in some places it wasnt banned as such and wasnt removed from ww2 medals the Finnish Airforce used the swastika well into the 1960s and it is still used in the design on the Finnish airforce shoulder board badges even today .Mikkeli town still has the Swastika in the city badge design as the town was awarded the Mannerheim cross as it was his headquaters town , The Finnish swastika has nothing to do with Nazi Germany

  • What you just say, was true!! Finland has use swastika sins 1918. Germany take this symbol 1933, when Hitler became leader.

  • Actually, the nazis officially started using the swastika in 1920. But yeah, the Finns still had it first :>

  • yep. well in historyally the swastica is meny meny thousand years old symbol.

  • @Kradman1 The FAF swastika was removed from aircraft in use in 1945. Don't know when they were removed from armour (tanks and assault guns), but probably also in 1945. The swastika however remains on old and new flags, medals other awards etc.

  • @Kradman1 You couldent be more wrong. Germany helped keep the Finnish defense intact. Of course the Finns use their swastika as a tribute to the ones who helped them keep their land. It IS a nazi symbol but its not being used as a nazi symbol. The difference to what you are saying is HUGE.

  • @moOswe: Sorry to say that you are absolutely wrong. Swastika is an ancient symbol that has been used in many many countries and cultures. The Finnish Air Force adopted it in 1918, years before there was any Nazi movement or party in Germany. So Hitler and his gang selected the swastika as their symbol much later than Finland.

  • @MrHenneri ha-ha! So that is why finnland has a German stug with a swastika on it? xD Did they build that one in 1918 too perhaps? During the winter war Germany built up the Finnish airforce, which proves my point when I say that finnland didint really have a armed airforce in the first place.

  • @moOswe : Needless to say that your comment proves the point that you know absolutely nothing of the background and political situation of the Winter War. Please go home and civilize yourself!

  • @MrHenneri We havent even spoke a word about the background of the winter war! We are have been talking about the resons behind why Finnland adopted the swastika as a military symbol :S Btw Im already at home.

Perhaps its you who should work on your english and not me who should work on my history.

  • @moOswe The finnish armed forces used the Hakaristi long before the nazis

  • @moOswe Of f*ck for sight....

Finns had swastikas before Hitler even came to power you idiot!

  • @moOswe

Your ignorance is astounding. It even overshadows your crappy english. Do you perhaps have american genes?

  • @onedOLlarDuDE Dont throw bricks in a glass house my dear subhuman.

  • @moOswe

I would never do that, it would break the house, and I'm almost aryan so I'm not subhuman.

  • @onedOLlarDuDE

Almost aryan? That also means almost subhuman :D

Racism is just dumb. And nothing more. In Germany the majority of racists consists of unemployed people which in most cases didn't even finish school. So what's the point in being aryan if you don't have enough brain to piss a hole in the snow? They just blame others for their own stupidity. THAT'S a behaviour that is beyond human standards.

  • @GilbMLRS

Get yourself some sense of humour, because what I said was just meant to be a ridicilous answer to a ridicilous reply, so it was just for a laugh and I wasn't serious about it.

  • Finnish Swaastica i believe is called a Hakaristi..and he symbol is a good luck symbol in Buddism

  • I don't care if the Finns were fighting for or against the Nazis-they were the bravest soldiers of all of World War II.

  • Finns could more than ghold their own againstthe Russians or Germans. the symbol they use, teh Hakaristi, is a Buddist symbol for good luck going wayy back. Where do you think the Nazi party got the symbol from??

  • I never heard about that. Thanks for the info, dude.

  • finnish swatiska is diftrent than nazi symbol. Finnis swatiska is from sweden, von rosen´s familys symbol. they give firs airplane to finnish airforces during civilic war in 1918. And germans have saved finnish indipendence just four times, in civilic war against communism, in winterwar they told to spot fiting, you will have all losted areas back later, continuation war germans fought against russian side by side with finnish, and thanks to germans, laplands war was a scenewar,

  • Scene war or not, there were around 6000 killed or wounded and most of the infrastructure were destroyed. Dont really know how many civilians died afterwards from the mines, but i know some died still in seventies and eighties.

  • swastika is shown here as a symbol of luck

  • Excellent Observation, not too many people know that.

  • yeah it'sad that finland had to take out alot of swastikas from medals and so on cause it was compromitted after ww2! in fact it's a fascinating symbol

  • Finns had some 50 of them during battles in summer 1944. In Ihantala they destroyd 87 russian tanks and lost only 3. But perhaps finnish massive artillery fire destroyed much more russian tanks. It was estimated that Luftwaffe unit Kuhlmey may have destroyed perhaps 200 russian tanks with Jabos and Stukas.

  • Very cool machine

  • That's the one from a tank museum I don't know the name of, the website is...well they won't let me say just go to google and type in andreaslarka

"This StuG is restored to running condition and has for the Åke Lindman production of the "Tali-Ihantala 1944" -filmings been painted in a (made-up, but quite nice looking) wartime camoflage colour scheme. The real registration number is not Ps.531-19 as in the pictures, but as a movie-star one must have one's make-up, right?"

  • lol a bus drove past!

  • Luultavasti näitä Åke Lindmanin leffoja jatko-sodasta.

  • mistä leffast tää on ?
