No not really. I didn't like Mechanical Animals for the longest time, Cause he started doing the 70ish techno-y coke binge style. When I went back and listened to it just for being music and not necesserally for what I wanted him to sound like, it was alright. Then I noticed that type of songwriting/style started on Antichrist Superstar. Any new stuff seems like he's just not trying as hard enough, or is just ran out good song ideas.
