Thanks man,, worked great , I would suggest any people without proper effeccts to go on to detonation films and pick out 'Groundfireburst01'

trimmed the begining, lengthened it from 3 to 6 seconds and worked just as well. Brilliant tutorial.

@highasfuk23 yeah just type in 'detonation films' into google and search through the website until you find one really! like i said above. ^. you will need 7zipp to extract the files and then they are ready to go.

from internet to after effects takes around 3-7 minutes. on wednesday, i will have an example of the effect i used on my channel, at the beggining of my show. keep in touch if you are stuck (:

@theantisocialclub the fire doesnt have a back ground behind it or its clear and you can see the video behind it, all of the stuff in the Action Essentials pack is pre-keyed. :D

aww...i cant get it to work for me..when i try...the fire image goes over my letters and covers it...so i have to make it opaque and that darkens everything around it in a square...if i move layer down..then it just turns my letters gray and fire shows through them and no where else...would someone mind telling me what step im missing here...thanx ; )

You can use Luma Matte no matter what (if it's keyed or not). It looks the exact same (I tried the Big_Fire_01 from Action Essentials 2 in a pre comp w/ a black background and with it transparent with no difference).

Just thought I'd toss that out there.
