  • Looks nice and fast, what hardware specs did you have that running on?

  • Forget now, sorry long time ago.

  • Brilliant video :) I think the developers have done well in keeping the spirit of the Amiga. And it really shows in their coding practises. AROS is a refreshing change from all of the sloppy programming and bloat that seems to be rampant these days.

  • Great video. I should re-install AROS. What CPU setting did you use for the emulator? That screamed for a 68000.

  • Goooood!!!

    AROS rulez!

  • You are mistaken about Jim Sachs passing away. He is still actively developing his marine aquarium screensaver at serenescreen[dot]com.

  • Apologies for that then, really thought I had read the opposite. How do I feel now.

  • Hopefully relieved to learn that the talented Mr. Sachs is still ticking! :-)

Excellent video, by the way! I'm also an original Amigan (circa 1985), so I look forward to seeing more.

  • Or is it not VESA GFX ?

  • I can see that you are using VESA gfx-mode. That will be little jerky.

    Anyway great video. thx :)

  • Great demo of Aros =)

  • I really hope that it is being run emulated since the movie was a bit jerky... ;) I expect that in native it doesn't behave that way

  • This is fully live, it is just that I am using an N95 Mobile phone to record and then relying on iMovie not to screw it up. Which bits were jerky and I will look into a rerecord.

  • Good work :)
