That is renamed back to Oliver Cromwell. This vid was shot in Nov-08.

I was the organiser of the event (Colonel Steve Davies). A chat over a curry with Nigel Harris confirmed it to be a good idea, and the next step was to convince Andrew Scott at the NRM! Fortunately he bought-in to the project, and I continued to drive it despite having left the Army in September. The video is an evocative and personally very satisfying record of a day which took me the best part of 20 months to arrange. Many thanks indeed.

You missed a good event. Cromwell and Leander are superb locomotives, so you have to make the most of them.

It would have been better with the O4, but we managed to arrive too late one shot of that loco and the other shot was ruined by a postman loading the TPO apparatus as the O4 past Quorn Box

Apparently the idea of renaming Cromwell to celebrate their 100 years was the idea of the TA who approached the GCR
