Helen Sellew has been a terrific hostess for everyone who bowls at Fairway. Even though she's old, she has great knowledge and intregrity of the sport. That may have been the only time she ever appeared on the Channel 5 show.

I believe Helen Sellew is in the ICBA Hall of Fame for contribution to the sport. And Don Gillis is also there as well, and deservedly so.

This is actually from the 1st year they were at the Faiway in Natick. Sammy White's closed in 1985.

No Anthonyc28. Sammy Whites closed up in May 1986. I should know I worked there the year it was closed up :( I had some fun times there. That's where I bowled juniors from 1979-1986. It's a shame that it's a Acura dealership now. I won't even look or buy an Acura.

Pats14fann01 I'm sure you are right. This show aired in August 1986 at Fairway in Natick. The last Championship show at Sammy Whites was in August 1985. So your version of things makes perfect sense.
